Esposito Cracks Kings

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn, with the board reading Q543. Play was heads-up, and John Esposito was the player on the left of the button. He bet out for 147,000 into a pot of 160,000, putting David Simon into the tank. After a couple of moments, he shoved, and Esposito couldn't have gotten his chips in any quicker.

John Esposito: Q3 All in
David Simon: KK

Simon called for a five, but 9 left his kings cracked, and the huge pot went over to Esposito.

Fernandez Wins Multi-Way Pot

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

A total of five players took a flop in a raised pot where the dealer fanned out J10J. Mike Matusow checked from the small blind. Leonardo Fernandez checked from the big blind. Reginald Roberts checked from under the gun. Danny Noam opted to bet 15,000 from the cutoff and was called by Daniel Defreitas from the button.

Matusow folded and Leonardo Fernandez called.

The 6 turn saw checks from Fernandez and Noam. Defreitas fired for 43,000. Fernandez came along with a call and Noam folded to narrow the players down to two.

Both players checked the 2 river.

Fernandez showed J2 for a rivered full house. Defreitas showed the J before he mucked his hand.

Lipton Sets the Trap

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Chad Lipton opened to 26,000 under the gun, and immediately saw a raise to 76,000 from Brian Roelke. No other players fancied a flop, and when action was back on him, Lipton flatted.

On a flop of 29K Lipton checked his option, and Roelke downbet to 33,000. Lipton made the call. The turn 8 checked through, then Lipton led out on the J river, to the tune of 80,000. Roelke took his time, called, then mucked as Lipton flipped over AK
