Hoffman Takes a Bite Out of Blom

Level 19

Max Hoffman raised preflop and Viktor Blom defended his big blind.

The dealer spread the AA3 and Blom check-called a bet from Hoffman.

The turn snapped off the K and Blom check-called again.

When the Q completed the board, the same action occurred and Hoffman quickly tabled the AK for top boat.

Hoffman Can't Catch a Break; Zinno Gaining on Blom

Level 20
Max Hoffman
Max Hoffman

The following flurry of hands all occurred just before the players went to break.

Hand 1:

Viktor Blom got three streets from Max Hoffman as a board ran out 226J7.

When Hoffman called the last barrel, he saw the bad news as Blom tabled 77 for the rivered full house.

Hand 2:

Ryan Bambrick raised, Anthony Zinno put in a third bet, and Max Hoffman put in a fourth bet preflop. Bambrick and Zinno called.

Three ways to the 725 and the action went off the rails. Hoffman checked, Bambrick bet, Zinno raised, Hoffman raised, Bambrick folded, and Zinno called.

Heads up to the A in a massively bloated pot, Hoffman bet. Zinno responded with a raise and Hoffman called.

The river was wet with the 6 and Zinno bet. Hoffman made a pained fold and the table demanded to see a bluff from one of the most action packed limit hold'em hands ever recorded. Zinno claimed to never bluff and continued to collect the pot.

Hand 3:

Anthony Zinno raised in late position and Max Hoffman put in the third bet from the small blind. Zinno called.

The dealer spread the A26 and Hoffman bet. Zinno called.

The turn brought a third spade in the form of the Q and Hoffman bet again. Zinno called.

The river brought a fourth spade with the 9 and Hoffman slowed down with a check. Zinno bet and Hoffman called.

Zinno tabled the KK for the rivered nuts and a forcibly composed Hoffman flashed his hand to Zinno before sending it into the muck.
