Slim Lead for Hui

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Phil Hui limped on the button, and Veerachai Vongxaiburana checked in the big blind. The 4J5 flop produced a pair of checks, and the 10 turn hit the felt.

Vongxaiburana checked again, making the call after Hui fired 500,000 into the middle.

Action slowed again on the 4 river, as both players checked it down.

"Nines," said Vongxaiburana, but they were no good as Hui tabled J8732 for jacks and fours to take a slight chip lead.

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Veerachai Vongxaiburana had been winning nearly every small pot during the heads-up match before he and Phil Hui checked to the turn in a limped pot and the board showing 4K97.

Vongxaiburana then bet 400,000 from the big blind and Hui called on the button. The river was the 5 and Vongxaiburana slowed down and checked.

Hui then bet 1,550,000 and Vongxaiburana quickly folded.

Vongxaiburana checked the K river and Hui slid out a bet of 200,000. Vongxaiburana made the quick call.

"Jack-nine," said Hui as he showed AJ972 for a full house, taking down the last pot before break as Vongxaiburana mucked.

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

In a three-way limped pot, all three players checked to the river on a board of 65AK10. Marco Johnson then bet 800,000 from the small blind and only Veerachai Vongxaiburana called on the button.

Vongxaiburana showed QQJ82 for a straight and a low, and Johnson mucked.

The next hand, action was again checked to the turn on a board of 6102J. Vongxaiburana then bet 300,000 from the big blind and Phil Hui raised to 1,500,000 in the small blind.

Vongxaiburana called to the 5 river, where Hui announced pot and began assembling the bet. Vongxaiburana didn't wait for him to finish before tossing his cards into the muck.
