Friedman Scoops a Knockout

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Tsz Shing moved all in for 19,400 from the small blind on a flop of 637 and Adam Friedman reshoved from middle position. Joseph Genova in the hijack tanked for more than a minute but eventually got out of the way.

Friedman had flopped a straight, while Shing had a low. The turn was the 6, while the A river gave Friedman a better low to scoop the pot and send Shing to the rail.

The 7J2 flop saw all three players commit 7,000, with the A turn producing a trio of checks. Another round of checks followed th 3 river.

Seed tabled AQ953, while Leonard showed AQJ52. Bambrick mucked as Leonard claimed the high with two pair, while Seed matched Leonard's low.

Milgrom Lucky to Get a Quarter on the River

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

After two limps in front of him, Tomasz Gluszko raised to 5,000 in the small blind and Nicolas Milgrom called in the cutoff.

The flop came 974 and Gluszko continued for 13,000. Milgrom called and the 8 fell on the turn.

Gluszko then moved all in and Milgrom took a few seconds before calling for his last 40,000. He showed AJ654, while Gluszko had AJ1053 for a straight and low.

Gluszko was poised to scoop the pot until the 3 river gave both players the same low, earning Milgrom a quarter of the pot while Gluszko took three quarters.

"I escaped somehow," Milgrom said.

Arieh Arrives, Genova Takes the Turn

Josh Arieh opened to 3,000 from under the gun, finding calls from Joseph Genova on the button and Nathaniel Wiesner in the big blind.

Wiesner and Arieh checked the 783 flop before Genova fired 4,000. Wiesner quickly folded, while Arieh called to see the Q turn.

Another check from Arieh was met with a bet of 7,500 from Genova. That was enough to take down the pot as Arieh folded.

Action was four-way to the 22J flop, where a round of checks saw the 6 hit the turn.

Xixiang Luo led out for 2,400 from the small blind and Magnus Edengren folded in the big blind. Matthew Beinner made the call in the hijack, as did Michael Gentry in the cutoff.

Luo checked the 8 river before Beinner announced pot. Gentry moved his last 7,500 in and Luo got out of the way.

Beinner tabled A9852 for a full house, while Gentry showed AKJ104 to make the best low and stay alive.
