Roger Hendren Eliminated in 7th Place ($29,818)

Level 40 : Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante
Roger Hendren
Roger Hendren

Action folded to Roger Hendren in the cutoff, who moved all in for his stack of 6,000,000. Joey Couden, the chip leader, also moved all in from the button. When action got to the big blind, he saw an ace first, and then peeled the second card, showing the whole table as he did it, eventually revealing a ten, and folding.

Roger Hendren: AK All in
Joey Couden: A10

A great situation for Hendren, especially now he knew that one of his opponents' immediate outs had been folded.

Nevertheless, the deck favoured Couden. The flop came 4410, giving him the lead.

The turn 4 improved Couden to a full house, but did give Hendren an extra out to chop the pot.

Alas, it wasn't to be. The river 9 sealed Hendren's fate, and he headed toward the exit.

Joey Couden
Joey Couden

Joey Couden raised to 4,000,000 on the button and Alexander Savchenko defended in the big blind.

The flop came 372 and Savchenko check-called a bet of 3,600,000 from Couden.

The A turn went check-check, bringing the J river. Savchenko led out with a bet of 6,700,000 and Couden snap called, tabling A8 for a pair of aces. Savchenko turned over 43 and the pot was pushed Couden's way.

Huanging Around

Level 40 : Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

Action folded to Yu Hsiang Huang on the button, who moved his two big blind stack into the middle. The small blind got out of the way, but Roger Hendren called from the big blind.

Yu Hsiang Huang: K7 All in
Roger Hendren: 95

Hendren took the lead on the 9106 flop, but Huang had a flush draw, straight draw and an overcard to stay alive.

The turn J favored Hendren, giving him a flush draw too, but the river A ensured it would be a double up for Huang, giving him the nut flush.

Huang Still Alive

Level 39 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante

Action folded around to Yu Hsiang Huang in the small blind who moved all in for 2,800,000. Ofer Saha made the call in the big blind with the covering stack.

Yu Hsiang Huang: 98 All in
Ofer Saha: Q3

The flop came 356 with Saha still in the lead with his pair of treys. The 7 landed on the turn, giving Huang the straight to lock up the double up and the meaningless 10 rolled off on the river.

A promising situation soon turned ugly for Caziarc as the dealer fanned out the J48, pairing Savchenko's kicker.

The turn 2 was no help for Caziarc, who was calling for a club, and the river 6 sealed his fate.

Savchenko pulled in the pot, and Caziark got directions to the payout desk.

Action folded to Samuel Choae in the small blind, who moved all in for his remaining 3,500,000 stack. Richard Buckingham, in the big blind, called to put Choae at risk.

Samuel Choae: K7 All in
Richard Buckingham: A5

The flop Q42 gave Buckingham a straight draw, but more importantly, kept him ahead.

The turn 6 reduced Choae's outs, as Buckingham had now picked up a flush draw too.

Unfortunately for Choae, the river 6 was no help either, and he vacated his seat to head for the exit.
