Playing the $250,000 Super High Roller turned out to be a bad bet for Sean Perry.

The self-proclaimed sports betting guru arrived on Monday to enter Day 2 of the largest buy-in tournament at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP). He lost all of his chips about five minutes after he sat down. But he'll have an opportunity to win it all back soon (or lose more).

Stahley Eliminates Sandt

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Shawn Sandt moved all in from under the gun for about 275,000 to put himself at risk and Riley Stahley called in the big blind.

Shawn Sandt: 66 All in
Riley Stahley: K10

It was a fair fight but Stahley pulled ahead on the KJK flop, improving to trip kings. The 2 turn and Q river offered no help to Sandt, and he was sent packing.

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The hand began with a raise by Clark Reynolds to 100,000 from early position. Oliver Heidel made it 280,000 from middle position, and Reynolds called after the table folded back around to him.

Jacks Super for Mario as Lim Departs

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The action was picked up with Brian Lim in the big blind moving all in for 260,000. The hand then folded round to Mario Quijano in the hijack, who had Lim easily covered with around 1,500,000 in chips, and made the call.

Brian Lim: K7All in
Mario Quijano: JJ

Quijano was well ahead preflop, and maintained his ascendancy when the first three cards came out 32Q. A turn of 6, before a river of 2 was no help for Lim, who exited stage left.
