Abramsom On His Way Out

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Jesus Bonequi opened for 110,000 in middle position and got an all-in shove from Lee Abramson for 420,000 in cutoff. When action folded back to him, Bonequi made the call taking them to showdown.

Lee Abramson: AQ All in
Jesus Bonequi: AJ

Bonequi got a pair on the window card of the J27 flop which elicited a look of frustration from Abramson. Abramson started packing his things as the dealer completed the board with a 6 turn and 10 river.

Joseph Couden
Joseph Couden

Steven Newman was already all in from a late position from his remaining 300,000 and covered by Joey Couden from a middle position, with the cards on their backs.

Steven Newman: J8All in
Joey Couden: 109

Newman was ahead on the KK5 flop, and the 4 turn.

His luck changed on the 10 river as Couden hit a pair of tens, which was good enough to take the pot.

Ladies Good For Sigman, Castagnetto On The Brink

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Tyler Sigman was under the gun and bet 100,000. The action folded round to Carlo Castagnetto, who re-raised from the small blind before Sigman moved all in for approximately 800,000. Castagnetto replied by moving all-in himself for around 820,000.

Tyler Sigman: QQAll in
Carlo Castagnetto: 1010

The flop came 885, keeping Sigman ahead, before a K on the turn and 3 on the river sealed a double up for Sigman. Castagnetto was left with just 20,000 in the final hand before the break.

Kabrhel, Is That You?

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Sean Hansen opened in early position, and when action got to Jody Goble, she moved all in for 280,000. Hansen called, and the players' cards were turned over.

Jody Goble: AJ All in
Sean Hansen: KK

The flop was gin for Goble, not so much for Hansen, coming down A46.

"Not like that", Hansen said, seemingly unaware of the relevance of the phrase. "Not you too", quipped a nearby tournament director, alluding to the troublesome Martin Kabrhel and his newfound catchphrase.

There was no reprieve for Hansen on the turn 10 or river 3, and Goble secured the full double up.

Qin Elicits River Fold

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Lies Kara opened the hand with a raise to 100,000 from middle position. Stanislav Kriventsov called on the button, and Tao Qin came along from the big blind.

Qin and Kara checked the flop of K53 before Kriventsov fired 125,000. Qin opted to call, and Kara folded to get out of the hand.

The 5 flipped over on the turn, which led to checks from both Qin and Kriventsov.

Qin put out a bet of 210,000 on the 7 river. Kriventsov went into the tank, asking Qin if he had a king. Qin did not respond, and Kriventsov eventually chose to fold the hand.

Jeffrey Rogers opened from middle position for 85,000 and got two calls from Lisa Farmer on the button and John Merriam in the big blind.

The flop came 872 and all players checked.

The 6 turn was checked down to the K river, which saw Merriam and Rogers check, but Farmer bet 85,000.

That was enough for both players to fold, leaving Farmer to take the pot without a showdown.

All three knuckled leading them to the turn Q. Both Carter and Ma checked, prompting Carziarc to bet 95,000. Both remaining players folded with the dealer awarding the pot to Carziarc.

To show that he really had it, Carziac tabled his hand - AQ for the nut flush.
