Kabrhel Remains a Pain in Foxen's Side

Thomas Boivin raised to 37,000 in middle position and Alex Foxen reraised to 111,000 in the cutoff. Martin Kabrhel flat-called on the button and Boivin came along for the ride.

The flop fell 8♥6♠2♥ and the action checked to Kabrhel who bet 150,000. Boivin quickly folded and Foxen check-raised to 375,000. Kabrhel called and the 4♥ rolled off on the turn. Foxen checked again and Kabrhel announced all in, forcing Foxen to quickly lay his hand down.

Alfred Decarolis opened to 50,000 in early position and Alexandros Theologis three-bet to 150,000 in the hijack. Decarolis responded with a four-bet to 475,000 and Theologis called.

The flop came A♦K♦4♥ and both players checked to the 3♠ on the turn. Decarolis splashed in a bet of 500,000 and Theologis quickly mucked his cards.

Chance Kornuth opened to 40,000 in the hijack and Daniel Negreanu flat-called on the button. Jason Koon reraised to 220,000 in the big blind and both Kornuth and Negreanu called.

The flop fell J♣6♣2♣ and the action checked to Negreanu who bet 175,000. Koon quickly folded but Kornuth stuck around for the 5♦ on the turn. Kornuth checked again and Negreanu tossed in a bet of 250,000. Kornuth still called and the 8♦ landed on the river. Both players tapped the table and Kornuth showed 9♠9♣. Negreanu flipped over his A♠J♠ for a pair of jacks and was awarded the pot.

Martin Kabrhel has been a thorn in Alex Foxen's side for multiple tournaments now, and that thorn proved to be fatal today. In a heads-up pot between the two, Foxen checked on a flop of 3♦6♠5♣ and Kabrhel bet 50,000.

Foxen check-jammed a stack of about 200,000. Kabrhel went in the tank and then called.

Joao Vieira got things started with a raise from under the gun. Matthias Eibinger called on his left and Santhosh Suvarna pushed all in for 175,000 in the hijack. Vieira clicked it to 305,000 and Eibinger reraised to over 600,000. Vieira folded and the two remaining hands were tabled.
