In the largest buy-in event of the summer, there was no shortage of eyes on Event #46: $250,000 Super High Roller No-Limit Hold'em throughout the opening day inside the Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas. A total of 46 entries were recorded through the first eight levels, with 38 players advancing to Day 2 in hopes of claiming the prestigious World Series of Poker gold bracelet.
Among those returning to the felt for the second day of competition is fan-favorite Daniel Negreanu (1,345,000) and his newfound friend Martin Kabrhel (4,265,000). Both players sauntered into their seats midway through Day 1 but their chip stacks happened to go in opposite directions. Kabrhel managed to climb his way to nearly three starting stacks quickly, good enough for the lead, while Negreanu will be returning with just slightly less than a starting stack.
Either way, both players grabbed the attention of the fans looking on from the closest rail outside of the tournament area. Negreanu even got a round of applause thanks to the encouragement of his new bestie after what Kabrhel said was an, "Incredible bluff." With such a small field, there is a good chance they will be bumping elbows at some point today, and it is to be determined what mood Negreanu will show up in.

The players will be coming back to Level 9 with the blinds at 15,000/30,000 and a 30,000 big blind ante. The levels will continue to be 60 minutes throughout the day with a 15-minute break after every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 14. A total of 10 levels are on the schedule for Day 2, with a hard stop when just six players remain.

With Martin Kabrhel seated right behind this table and already in a very chipper mood this morning, the table started complaining about the noise within just a few minutes.
"Can you guys do anything about him talking?" Orpen Kisacikoglu asked the floor.
"At least something about the noise level?" Chance Kornuth also pleaded.
