Alex Foxen opened to 650,000 from early position before it folded to Daniel Negreanu in the big blind.
"I'm gonna use my first time extension," explained Negreanu as he counted out his chips.
He eventually announced all-in for 2,125,000, and Foxen snapped it off.
Daniel Negreanu: A♦9♥
Alex Foxen: A♣K♥
It went from grim to desperate for Negreanu on the K♠10♦6♣ flop as Foxen paired his king. He was drawing dead on the 3♣ turn to the irrelevant 7♥ on the river and the late-night rail cheered for Negreanu as he exited in ninth after another deep run this World Series.

Down to the official final table, the remaining eight players were each given an additional six time banks. Martin Kabrhel wasted no time in putting them to use, flicking one of his many into the middle when the action folded to him.
"I don't know how he gets so many," Chris Brewer pondered on his left. "I think the PokerNews team takes them from us and gives them to him on the break or something."
Kabrhel proceeded to announce a raise of 3,950,000, all of his chips in front of him. The rest of the table folded and Kabrhel picked up the blinds and ante at the expense of one time bank.
