Christopher Cook: 6♣5♣3♠/2♦K♦2♥A♦
William Short: Q♦5♦3♥/7♦10♥8♣6♥
Maxx Coleman: AxXxXx/A♣8♥Q♣9♥
James Obst: 7♠6♠4♣/A♠7♥Q♠10♠
In a huge four-way pot, Christopher Cook tossed in his final 5,000 on seventh street. William Short called all-in for 4,000, and Maxx Coleman called as well.
James Obst then raised, and Coleman tossed in a reluctant call. Obst tabled a flush, adding the small side pot to his enormous stack as Coleman quickly mucked his cards.
Christopher Cook had made the best low, leaving Short empty-handed as the pot was chopped up between Cook and Obst.
Three-way to a 7♥9♠K♦ flop, Robert Kearse checked from the big blind to Benny Glaser in early position. Glaser bet, prompting Owais Ahmed to toss in a raise on the button.
Kearse quickly folded, but Glaser threw in a three-bet. Ahmed called, as did he when Glaser bet on the 7♦ turn. Glaser did not hold back on the 10♥ river as he bet again.
Ahmed took about a minute to think it over, after which an irritated Kearse called the clock. Not long after the floor had arrived, Ahmed laid his hand down.
After the hand, Kearse kept making remarks about the speed of Ahmed's play.
"What are you complaining about? I've played five hands faster than you!" Ahmed retaliated.
"Well, I've played five hands better than you," Kearse quipped back, which got some laughs out of the other players.
Ahmed and Kearse would not argue for much longer, as Kearse was eliminated the very next hand.
Matthew Valeo: K♥9♥/K♦Q♦8♦2♠/2♦
Greg Baird: 5♣4♣/J♣10♣2♣Q♣/Xx
Matthew Valeo got his chips in on fourth street against Greg Baird and was at risk. Baird's flush draw was immediately completed on fifth street, and Valeo was drawing dead on sixth street as he took his leave.
Maxx Coleman check-called a bet by Xixiang Luo on fourth street before he put his opponent all-in on fifth street. Luo called, but could not make a pair or low in the end as Coleman's pair of sixes scooped the pot.
Catching the action on the A♣A♥Q♦ flop, Steven Abitbol checked form the big blind to Eduardo Reyes in the cutoff. Reyes bet, Abitbol raised, and Reyes called.
Abitbol then committed his last few chips on the 6♣ turn, with Reyes snap-calling.
Steven Abitbol: Kx5x3xXx
Eduardo Reyes: A♠Q♥9♣2♥
Abitbol was just drawing to the low, but it did not come in on the 10♣ river, and he was eliminated.
