Four-Way to Seventh: Obst Obliterates Opposition, Short Sent to Exit

Level 14

Stud Hi-Lo

Christopher Cook: 653/2K2A All in
William Short: Q53/71086
Maxx Coleman: AxXxXx/A8Q9
James Obst: 764/A7Q10

In a huge four-way pot, Christopher Cook tossed in his final 5,000 on seventh street. William Short called all-in for 4,000, and Maxx Coleman called as well.

James Obst then raised, and Coleman tossed in a reluctant call. Obst tabled a flush, adding the small side pot to his enormous stack as Coleman quickly mucked his cards.

Christopher Cook had made the best low, leaving Short empty-handed as the pot was chopped up between Cook and Obst.

Kearse Calls Clock on Ahmed, Busts One Hand Later

Level 14

Omaha Hi-Lo

Three-way to a 79K flop, Robert Kearse checked from the big blind to Benny Glaser in early position. Glaser bet, prompting Owais Ahmed to toss in a raise on the button.

Kearse quickly folded, but Glaser threw in a three-bet. Ahmed called, as did he when Glaser bet on the 7 turn. Glaser did not hold back on the 10 river as he bet again.

Ahmed took about a minute to think it over, after which an irritated Kearse called the clock. Not long after the floor had arrived, Ahmed laid his hand down.

After the hand, Kearse kept making remarks about the speed of Ahmed's play.

"What are you complaining about? I've played five hands faster than you!" Ahmed retaliated.

"Well, I've played five hands better than you," Kearse quipped back, which got some laughs out of the other players.

Ahmed and Kearse would not argue for much longer, as Kearse was eliminated the very next hand.
