"It was a Tell"

Walter Ellis limped from under the gun. Timothy Sullivan raised to 24,000 from the cutoff. Azim Popatia, on the button, Jason Sell in the small blind, and Ellis made the call for a four-way pot. The flop came out with JA9, and it was checked to Sullivan, who bet out 20,000. Only Sell called to see the turn.

Both players checked the turn 10.

On the river 6, Sell checked, Sullivan bet 12,000, and Sell pulled the check-raise to 30,000. Sullivan reluctantly called. Sell turned over K4 for the flush.

Ellis stated jovially, "There was a thump under the table, when you hit, I think it was a tell."

Alipoufard Jams On Lowery

With a call in front of him, 18-time WSOPC ring winner Daniel Lowery raised to 36,000 which saw Mansour Alipourfard on the button raise to 106,000 which only Lowery called.

Lowery checked the flop of Q53 over to Alipourfard who bet 126,000 and Lowery called.

On the turn 2, Lowery bet 126,000 which sent Alipourfard into the tank. After four minutes, Alipourfard chirped up.

"You didn't call me with ace-four did you?" asked Alipourfard. A few seconds after saying that he moved all in for 299,000 effective.

After some time pondering, Lowery tossed his hand into the muck and Alipoufard soared up the counts.

Gibbons Loses a Big One on the Flop

Ramana Epparla opened to 24,000 from the button, but William Gibbons in the big blind check-raised to 101,000. Epparla went into the tank and called.

The dealer fanned a flop of 31010. Gibbons continued for 75,000, but Epparla raised to 150,000. Gibbons looked at the board for a few seconds and folded.

Tran Busts

Action was picked up with Phuoc Nguyen putting Hung Tran all in. Tran, with around 40,000 chips behind, tanked for an extended period clearly eyeing the next pay jump. Eventually, his table called the clock, and Tran made the call just as the floor began the final countdown.

Christensen's Tens Win Big

Mark Bramley raised to 26,000 from under the gun. Jeffrey Christensen then went all in for roughly 140,000 from middle position. Lisa Roberts also moved all in from late position for slightly less than Christensen. With both players covered, Bramley considered his options before deciding on a call.

Smith Chips Up from Frustrated Dmytraczenko

Two players, heads-up, checked the flop of 5A5, and a pot of 150,000. On the turn Q, Alexander Dmytraczenko in the small blind bet 70,000 and Larry Smith, on the button, called, leaving only 11,000 behind.

The river 8 dropped on the river and Dmytraczenko checked. Smith placed in his last 11,000 which Dmytraczenko easily called.

Smith turned over QJ evoking an loud "G****mn!" from Dmytraczenko as he turned over JJ
