Negreanu Doubles Through Stojanovic

Level 16 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Manuel Stojanovic's big stack took a slight dent after he clashed in a showdown with Daniel Negreanu. Stojanovic began the hand with a raise to 45,000 from early position. Negreanu responded with a reraise to 200,000 from the hijack before Stojanovic put in enough to put Negreanu all in. Negreanu flipped in his final 4,000 to head to a showdown.

Daniel Negreanu: AA83All in
Manuel Stojanovic: AK94

Negreanu hit a set when the flop fanned out AJQ, but Stojanovic was still drawing to a straight. The 5 turn and the 9 river averted danger for Negreanu to give him the double-up.

Lau's Turn Aggression Gets Fold from Hrabec

Level 16 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Roman Hrabec limped on the button, Ka Kwan Lau completed from the small blind, and Dario Sammartino checked his option.

The flop came KQ3 and Lau led out for 20,000. Sammartino folded, but Hrabec made the call.

The turn was the 9, and this time Lau bet 75,000. Hrabec paused, and then raised to 175,000. Lau responded by raising pot, which would have put Hrabec all in. Hrabec folded, and Lau dragged the pot.

Mosley Can't Fill Up

Level 16 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Philip Sternheimer
Philip Sternheimer

After a limp from Dominique Mosley and Eelis Parssinen, Najeem Ajez raised to 88,000 in the small blind. Philip Sternheimer called from the big blind, and both limpers came along too.

The four players saw a 5107 flop, and when Ajez checked, Sternheimer took over the betting lead to the tune of 125,000. Action was now on Mosley, who moved all in for 188,000. Parssinen folded, but both Ajez and Sternheimer made the call.

The turn brought the 6, and Ajez didn't hang around for someone else to bet, sliding in a full pot-sized bet himself. Before the dealer had time to figure out how much that was, Sternheimer had folded, and the remaining two players revealed their cards.

Dominique Mosley: 101055 All in
Najeem Ajez: 9876

Mosley had flopped bottom set, but Ajez had taken the lead on the turn, now having a straight.

The river A was no help to Mosley, who needed the board to pair, and as the huge pot was pushed towards Ajez, Mosley headed toward the exit.

Brewer Wins Pot with No Betting

Level 16 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Eelis Parssinen limped in from middle position, which started a chain of limps, with Philip Sternheimer limping on the button, Jonas Kronwitter calling from the small blind, and Chris Brewer checking from the big.

The 7546A was checked on every street by every player. Brewer showed the J852 for a flopped straight, and while everyone else looked at their cards, he encouraged them all to muck. They all obliged, and he took down the pot.

Level 16 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Dario Sammartino opened to 50,000 from early position and was called by both of the blinds. The flop came A94 and the action checked to Sammartino who continued with a bet of 85,000. The small blind folded but Roman Hrabec came along from the big blind.

The turn brought the 2 and Hrabec started with a check. Sammartino made a pot-sized bet of 336,000 and Hrabec check-raised all in for 521,000. Sammartino asked for a count and was not happy about it but still called.

Manuel Stojanovic
Manuel Stojanovic

Manuel Stojanovic opened the raise to 45,000 on the button. Anson Tsang called from the big blind to send both to the flop.

Both players checked the 7210 flop.

When the 5 peeled on the turn, Tsang bet 104,000 and was called by Stojanovic.

Tsang played a time bank when the 10 hit the river. Tsang then pushed out 115,000. Stojanovic went into the tank and used a time bank. Stojanovic flicked a single red chip to signify a call.

Tsang showed A986 for ace high, while Stojanovic revealed QJJ9 for two pair.
