Sinishtaj led out with a pot-sized bet of 2,080,000 and Weiss jammed all in as the bigger stack. Sinishtaj called off his stack of 5,070,000 and the cards were face up.

Phil Ivey is starting to heat up at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP), and he could be just one day away from capturing his 12th gold bracelet.

The Poker Hall of Famer, with 10 players remaining at the time of publishing, held the chip lead in Event #51: $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller, a tournament with 489 entrants.

Bryn Kenney, who is closing in on $80 million in live tournament cashes, busted in 11th place ($134,007). The remaining players still have a shot at the $2,292,155 first-place prize, to be awarded on Friday.

Najeem Ajez opened to 555,000 from under the gun and Dennis Weiss three-bet to 1,905,000 on his left. The action folded back to Ajez who called to see a flop of Q♠Q♥6♥. Ajez checked to Weiss who continued with a bet of 1,200,000 and Ajez check-raised all in. Weiss called off his stack of 4,015,000 and the cards were on their backs.

Ajez had a flush draw but it was dead to the nut flush draw and pocket aces of Weiss. The turn brought the 10♥ to complete the flush for Weiss but it actually gave Ajez a single out to a straight flush. The river was the K♠ and Ajez was forced to pass over a large portion of his stack.

Weiss finally led out with a bet of 550,000 and Ivey contemplated for a moment before making the call. Weiss turned over A♣5♠3♣2♣ for just a pair of deuces while Ivey showed A♥K♥K♣10♣ for a pair of kings to win the pot.

When action folded to Phil Ivey in middle position, he limped in. This encouraged the small blind to do the same, but Evan Krentzman, in the big blind, was having none of it, raising to 480,000.

Ivey called, and the small blind folded.

Both Krentzman and Ivey checked the J♣4♠9♥ flop, but when the 5♣ turn was dealt, Krentzman slid out 1,200,000, a pot-sized bet. Ivey called to see one more card.

The river A♥ saw sparks fly. Krentzman continued for 1,500,000, but Ivey responded by moving all in. Krentzman didn't waste any time folding, and Ivey pulled in a huge pot.
