The reigning WSOP Main Event Champion, Jonathan Tamayo, is here and looking to build a stack as we move through Level 5.
Tamayo, who has enjoyed more modest success so far at the 2025 WSOP with three minor cashes, will be looking to build some momentum ahead of poker's world championship, which gets underway in just over 2 weeks.
Plenty of poker still to be played before then, though, and the man from Humble, Texas, will be hoping for success in what is the fifth edition of this event.

The growth of the game can be attributed to everything from home games, social media content, to boisterous personalities on the felt.
Many poker players develop their followings by making YouTube videos, appearing on live streams, hosting podcasts, or even appearing on game shows.
In a world where information travels quickly and is readily available — there are plenty of international stars to look out for on the felt here at the 2025 World Series of Poker.
Andy Tsai AKA Andy Stacks is known for playing some of the highest stakes cash games on stream but he can be seen chasing the dream of winning a bracelet here at the WSOP.
Olga Iermolcheva competed on the very popular poker series "Game of Gold" and received compliments from fellow professionals for her aggressive instincts.
Polarizing figure and YouTube personality, Ryan DePaul, was seen on the felt somewhat clean-shaven and fresh off his most recent "Degen Debrief".
Long standing French pro, Davidi Kitai, was seen late registering this event. He has appeared in several episodes of "Inside the Mind of a Pro" where you can hear the internal narrative of the featured competitor.
Jonathan Little is a long-standing poker coach who offers content for all levels of skill in the game from beginner to advanced.

It's bad news for the field on Day 1 of today's $1,500 Freezeout, because Roland Israelashvili has checked in, and that usually means one of the cashes is locked up.
The American pro, who finally ended his bracelet hoodoo in October last year in the 2024 WSOP Online $400 ‘PLOSSUS, is second on the list of all-time WSOP cashes with well over 250 recorded scores in WSOP events.
With a further three finishes in the money already to his name this summer, could we see another deep run in this event?
