Patricia Moore moved all in from under the gun for her remaining 800,000 stack. Action folded around to Paul Snead who moved all in from the cutoff. Moore covered Snead by just 130,000.
Paul Snead: A♥K♥
Patricia Moore: K♦J♦
Snead was ahead and only improved on the A♣6♥7♣ flop.
The 9♣ turn and Q♦ river didn't change anything and Snead secured the double up, leaving Moore forced all in for the big blind on the next hand.
"I thought diamonds were a girl's best friend," remarked Moore after the hand.
In the very next hand, Michael Rossitto opened from under the gun and Jeremy Saderne called on the button. Moore had all her stack already invested from the big blind.
On the J♣J♠5♥ flop, Rossitto check-folded to Saderne's bet.
Patricia Moore: K♣9♦
Jeremy Saderne: K♣Q♥
Moore was crushed and couldn't find the win or a chop on the 2♣7♠ runout, which left her out in 22nd.
Michael Rossitto raised in late position to 120,000 and Stoyan Madanzhiev went all in, covering, from the small blind. Rossitto made the call.
Michael Rossitto: A♥Q♥
Stoyan Madanzhiev: J♣10♣
The flop had Madanzhiev drawing thin when it fanned out A♠K♥8♥. The turned 4♠ didn't change anything and the 10♥ on the river improved Rossitto to the nuts, awarding him the pot.
Everyone folded to Eric Berman in the cutoff, who glanced at his cards before showing his last 755,000 in the middle. Jagdeep Bal was sitting on the button and asked the dealer for a count before deciding to call, leading to a showdown, as the blinds went out of the way quickly.
Eric Berman: 10♠10♥
Jagdeep Bal: A♥J♥
Berman was ahead with his pair and as the board ran out K♣8♦5♠K♦5♣ he secured a double-up, staying alive.
With around 280,000 in the pot and the flop showing 10♠9♣K♦, Felipe Ramos in the big blind checked to Matan Mesika in the cutoff. Mesika bet 80,000, which Ramos called.
On the 7♦ turn, Ramos led out with a bet of 235,000, and Mesika made the call.
Both players checked the 9♠ river, leading to a showdown. Ramos tabled J♦8♣ for a straight, which was enough for Mesika as his card found the muck.
The action folded around to Kuowei Kao in the small blind, who shoved his stack of 895,000 into the middle. Carlos Kinil was in the big blind and contemplated for a while before he called.
Kuowei Kao: A♦3♠
Carlos Kinil: Q♠J♣
Kao's ace-high was good preflop, and he stayed ahead after the 3♦8♥10♦ flop gave him a pair. Kinil had flopped a gutshot and took the lead when the Q♣ on the turn gave him top pair. Kao needed an ace or a three to survive, but the 10♥ on the river wasn't it, meaning he was out in 23rd.
Carlos Kinil opened from under the gun to 120,000 and Bryan Frantz moved all in on the button for his remaining 650,000 stack. Zachary Hall called from the small blind and Kinil folded, leaving the players to go heads-up to showdown.
Bryan Frantz: A♣Q♣
Zachary Hall: K♦K♠
Frantz needed to improve. His chances were looking slim on the 6♣7♥2♠ flop.
Nothing changed for Frantz on the J♣ turn or the 6♥ river, and he was eliminated in 24th place.
David Cook raised from under the gun to 125,000 and Samuel Rosborough called in the cutoff. Asher Conniff was on the button and three-bet to 450,000, then when it got back to Cook, he shoved around 1,400,000. Rosborough quickly folded, and Conniff, after getting a rough count, called.
David Cook: Q♥J♥
Asher Conniff: A♣Q♠
Cook was way behind and couldn't find a way to catch up on the 10♣3♦8♣6♥7♣ runout, ending his run in 25th.
