Christopher Ray had the smaller stack with 29,000 chips and was holding Q10 for a straight. Kitty Kuo held AK for for two pair and around 210,000 in from of her, while Charles Shaverdians had the bigger stack and QJ.

Ray tripled his small stack while Kuo was able to take down the side pot .

Troendly Couldn't Call

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Soo Chang raised to 16,000 on the button. Richard Troendly re-raised to 48,000 and Chang called taking both of them to the flop.

The dealer fanned out 8Q3 which both players checked. The turn 6 dropped and Troendly fired 25,000. Chang called once again.

On the river 10 Troendly slowed the action down with a check. Chang keeping the action going shoved all-in for around 150,000 sending Troendly to the tank.

Troendly looked at his stack, separated the 150,000, then put it back. He looked at the flop for a few seconds then mucked his cards, stating that Chang probably had a flush.

As Chang scooped the pot, Troendly said he had two pair, to which Chang jokingly asked, "Why didn't you call?"
