Double on the Bubble

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Players were heads-up on the 7QAJ10 board with a pot of around 80,000. Mihai Isar had checked from the big blind and Dingxiang Ong had moved 150,000 into the middle from his stack. Isar had only 90,000 behind and went into the tank as there were 3 people away from reaching the money.

Isar put his remaining stack into the pot and play was paused whilst hand for hand was in play.

There was alot of table talk, and Isar asked Ong "Do you have it?". Isar stood from the table until the cards were turned.

Isar showed two pair, and took the pot after Ong had only a single pair of tens.

Herring Suffers Savage Beating

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The prospect of getting knocked out on the bubble didn't discourage John Herring from raising to 12,000 preflop, then going all in to call Christopher Savage's 92,000-chip three-bet.

In the runout 1043J3 brought bad news on the turn and worse on the river, with Savage hitting a jack for a set, then a full house to crack Herring's aces.

"I'm sorry," Savage said. "That sucks."

Jackson and Yang: Two of Ten Eliminated on the Bubble

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

During bubble time ten people were eliminated and two of them were Delano Jackson and Thao Yang.

Delano Jackson open- shoved all-in in the small blind for around 55,000 and got called by big blind Kharlin Sued taking them to showdown.

Sued was ahead with his nines and and stayed ahead on the board 3KJ82 making Jackson one of the eliminations on the bubble.

Two tables down, Thao Yang responded with an all-in shove for around 39,000 in middle position after David Amos under the gun opened to 9,000. Amos made the call putting Yang's tournament life during bubble time in jeopardy.

The flop came 8108 instantly giving Amos a pair and potentially sending Yang to hit the rails. With the runout 47, Yang's fate was sealed to join Jackson as one of the ten eliminations.

The ten eliminated players would be chopping seven payouts.

Rodgers and Motoyama Also Bust to Split the Money

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Aaron Motoyama was all in and at risk for a remaining stack around 100,000, with the best possible hand as he was holding AA. He was facing Stephen Buell who had AJ.

Motoyama had good hopes for a double up but found a board 664JJ, giving runner-runner trips to Buell in a dramatic fashion.

A few tables next to them, the board was showed KQ710 in a heads-up pot when Neeraj Nayak bet and called a shove from Garith Rodgers who had the lower stack .

Nayak had hit a straight and the 8 river didn't change anything, sending Rodgers to the payout desk to split the first payouts.

Kannan Doubles With Kings

Saigokul Kannan went all-in and was at risk from the small blind for 33,000 and was up against Troy Donaldson in the big blind.

Bubbles Bursting Everywhere; Moses Gets Three-Outed

David Moses got his last 151,000 in the middle preflop against Charles Shaverdians.

The queen came right away as the board ran out 2Q9310 and Moses was left rolling his eyes.

Hand 2:

Heads up on a flop of 82J, Bruceadam Mansonhing was all in and at risk against Vera Dong.

The board completed with the A and 8, awarding Dong the pot with her flopped top set.

Hand 3:

Hattori Lopez was all in and at risk preflop against the commanding stack of Alexander Kartveli.

The board ran out 410255 and Kartveli's sevens were good enough to eliminate Lopez.

Quite the cooler unfolded preflop as Michael Marder got his chips in against Tetsuma Ishizu.

The flop rolled 286 and Marder picked up a sweat with the 9 on the turn but the river paired with the 2 and Ishizu's aces held over Marder's kings.

Jay Harwood open-shoved in middle position and got called by small blind player Robert James taking them to showdown.

James had Harwood dominated and with no one hitting the board of 74J3Q, James took the pot down sending Harwood to the payout counter.

Players were already all in three-ways preflop. Steven Nichols was at risk from the small blind as was covered by both Bahar Musa from under the gun and Steven Nichols, the largest stack in play on the button.

Fidanza found a pair of nines on the 494 flop, but it wasn't good enough to crack both Aces, and he bricked on the 2, 3 runout. Fidanza made it through the bubble and took home a minimum cash.

Nichols chopped the pot with Musa and said "Nice hand sir".

Lampropulos Busts; Owen More than Doubles Up

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The board AA2310 was already dealt, with Maria Lampropulos being all in and holding JxJx against Adam Owen who was also at risk with AK. The third player involved, Collin Ball, had QQ and was covering both.

Owen had the best hand with trips aces and took down the pot while Lampropulos made her way to the payout desk.
