Kalisek Makes Clutch Call

Toshio Nanao called a 320,000-chip bet on the turn, then quickly shoved all in for more than 2 million chips after the river hit.

Clayton Kalisek took a long time to study a board that read J4Q53. Eventually, he made the call. Nanao was shocked.

Nanao flopped second pair, but was clearly representing a flush with the huge bet on the river. To his dismay, Kalisek sniffed it out.

Nanao was so dazed, he walked away without taking his backpack. After being tracked down, he returned to the table and gave Kalisek a look, and then cracked up the entire table.

"Will you play cash with me?" he said. "How can you make that call?"

After just loosing a huge pot against Olga Iermolcheva, Jesus Ortiz Calderon moved all in for his remaining 660,000 in the small blind after Thomas Macdonald opened from the cutoff to 120,000.

Macdonald made the call and had Calderon well covered.

Only Zuidema called the the two players saw the Q snap off the deck.
