But Not the Perfect Runout...

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a board of 462 with 22,000 in the middle, Christopher Costa ended up getting his full 125,000 into the middle, and was called by Daniel Clemente with the covering stack.

Christopher Costa: 9875 All in
Daniel Clemente: 7766

Costa had a wrap, and used it to turn the nut straight when the 5 came in. Clemente, with top set, was looking for a board pairing, and got it as the 4 peeled off on the river. Incredulous, Costa got up and said "Wow! That was the perfect flop!" unsure as to just how he had lost the hand.

Kings Beat... Kings?

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Johnny Landreth got all in for 38,000 before the flop, and it was only Michael Heritsch who'd be going with him to the river.

Johnny Landreth: KKJ9 All in
Michael Heritsch: KK32

Both players had kings, and Landreth's looked to be stronger, however the A75104 runout disgustingly gave Heritsch a wheel, and sent Landreth packing.

Mizrachi Adds Some to His Stack

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi raised to 8,000 from the hijack and only Christoph Milbradt called from the big blind.

Milbradt check-called a bet of 5,000 from Mizrachi on the Q810 flop.

Both players were happy to check down the K turn and 6 river. Milbradt announced "tens", and Mizrachi turned over KK76 for a set to win the pot.

Consolazio Survives

David Consolazio and Ranjeet Pawar both got their stacks in before seeing any community cards.

David Consolazio: AKK3 All in
Ranjeet Pawar: QJ108

Consolazio locked it on the turn, as he hit a wheel on the Q4525 runout, keeping him kicking in the event.

King With a Big Stack

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Caleb King
Caleb King

After the most recent break, Caleb King has emerged as one of the biggest stacks with 508,000 chips. King is from the United States and boasts over $700,000 in live tournament earnings, with his biggest cash being $96,309. King's best result in a World Series of Poker event came in 2024 after he finished 14th in a $800 No Limit Hold'em event.

King has built up quite the stack heading into the money bubble, so if he can build on this momentum for the rest of the night, he will certainly be able to bring through a healthy stack for Day 2 and have a good chance of making his first WSOP final table.
