Mercier Leaves Owen Short

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Heads-up on a board of 74106, Brad Owen bet from the big blind, Jason Mercier raised in the small blind, and Owen called.

Mercier then bet on the A river and Owen quickly called. Mercier turned over A653 for a straight, while Owen had AK82 and went to chop the pot before it was pointed out that Mercier actually had the superior low to scoop the pot as Owen buried his face in his hands.

Michael Estes: AK53 All in
Scott Seiver: AA107

Seiver hit top set on the A98 flop to take the lead, and although Estes ended up with trips as the board ran out KK, it wasn't enough as Seiver finished with a full house to send Estes to the rail.

Mozdzen Spikes a Scoop

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Todd Brunson raised from under the gun, and action folded around to Clayton Mozdzen in the big blind. Mozdzen called to see the A57 flop, and Brunson continued with a bet.

Mozdzen called to the 9 turn, this time leading out with a bet. Brunson called, and the 3 river completed the board. Mozdzen led out again, with Brunson tossing in calling chips.

Mozdzen tabled JJ42 for a flush with a wheel, good enough to take the high and low as Brunson showed his 3 and mucked the rest of his cards.

Miller Debates Deeb, Pays Off Smith

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Stud

Dylan Smith: XxXx/37A8/Xx
Ryan Miller: XxXx/1044A/Xx

"How many games do you think you're better than me in?" Shaun Deeb asked Ryan Miller.

"Probably four of the five. In a cash game, probably closer to eight," Miller replied.

"You think you're better than me in Stud High? We should play," Deeb added.

"You're definitely better than me in No-Limit. PLO it's close," Miller said.

"We should play heads-up again. He thinks he's better than me in 80 percent of poker games," Deeb replied.

While this debate was going on, Dylan Smith had completed and Miller raised. Smith called and Miller bet again on fourth street.

Smith called to fifth where Miller bet again. Smith then raised and Miller called. Smith bet on sixth and seventh, as Miller called both bets.

Smith ended up with AK8 for aces and eights, and Miller mucked.

Deeb could only let out a chuckle and a faux clap as Smith took in the pot. "I was rooting for you, Dylan," he told Smith.
