Matt Glantz

Limit Hold'em

Shaun Deeb bet from the big blind on a flop of 552 and Maximilian Schindler called in middle position.

Deeb bet again on the 7 turn and Schindler called once more. The river was the 9 and Deeb bet, but this time Schindler came back with a raise. Deeb gave it some thought but eventually folded.

At the same time at another table, Matt Glantz and small blind Jason Mercier exchanged raises on a flop of AQ2 until Glantz was all in from the cutoff.

Matt Glantz: A4 All in
Jason Mercier: A10

Both players had flopped an ace, but Mercier was ahead with his ten-kicker as the J turn and K river improved him to a straight to send Glantz to the rail.

Miller Debates Deeb, Pays Off Smith

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Stud

Dylan Smith: XxXx/37A8/Xx
Ryan Miller: XxXx/1044A/Xx

"How many games do you think you're better than me in?" Shaun Deeb asked Ryan Miller.

"Probably four of the five. In a cash game, probably closer to eight," Miller replied.

"You think you're better than me in Stud High? We should play," Deeb added.

"You're definitely better than me in No-Limit. PLO it's close," Miller said.

"We should play heads-up again. He thinks he's better than me in 80 percent of poker games," Deeb replied.

While this debate was going on, Dylan Smith had completed and Miller raised. Smith called and Miller bet again on fourth street.

Smith called to fifth where Miller bet again. Smith then raised and Miller called. Smith bet on sixth and seventh, as Miller called both bets.

Smith ended up with AK8 for aces and eights, and Miller mucked.

Deeb could only let out a chuckle and a faux clap as Smith took in the pot. "I was rooting for you, Dylan," he told Smith.
