Chino Rheem raised under the gun. Chris Klodnicki three-bet on the button, and Rheem called. Rheem drew two cards on the first draw, while Klodnicki needed only one card.
After Rheem check-called a bet, each player drew one card on the second draw. Rheem check-called another bet by Klodnicki, after which he took one more card on the final draw. Klodnicki stood pat, tossing out another bet after Rheem had checked.
Rheem slowly squeezed his card, but was not satisfied, and folded, leaving himself 65,000.
Rheem was in the big blind the next hand, and called all in when Klodnicki raised in the cutoff. On the first draw, they both took two cards. On the second draw, Rheem still needed two, but Klodnicki remained pat.
Rheem still exchanged two cards on the final draw, and both players tabled their holdings.
Chino Rheem: 6x4x3x
Chris Klodnicki: 8x5x4x2xAx
"Alive," said Rheem as he peeled a 2x as his first card. "Dead," he stated as he paired up with another 2x as his second card, spelling the end of his tournament run.
Yuval Bronshtein raised in the hijack and James Woods called in the cutoff, while George Alexander came along from the small blind and Mark Klecan came along from the big blind.
Alexander drew two, while Klecan drew three, with Bronshtein and Woods both drawing two. Action checked around to Bronshtein, who bet and everyone but Klecan called.
On the following draw Alexander drew one, Bronshtein drew one, and Woods drew two. Alexander checked to Bronshtein, who bet and Woods raised which saw only Bronshtein call.
Bronshtein drew one and checked while Woods stood pat and checked behind.
At showdown, Bronshtein turned over 6x5x4x2xAx for a six-five and he won the early pot.
It was just two days ago that 463 entrants came in to the Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas to play Event #56: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball and make the 2025 World Series of Poker iteration of this event the biggest ever. From that starting field, just 70 players received any piece of the $1,030,175 prize pool. Now each of the final 15 players are looking for the WSOP bracelet and the $208,552 yet to be awarded to the winner.
Leading the way are the three Bs; Balan, Becker, and Baker. Michael Balan (2,225,000) will be aiming to take home his first WSOP bracelet after 17 cashes over the course of eight years playing. Flanking him on the podium are WSOP bracelet winner Johannes Becker (2,110,000) and three-time WSOP bracelet winner David “Bakes” Baker (1,990,000). Becker was victorious in this particular event back in 2018.

Also in the hunt, with many WSOP Player of the Year implications, is seven-time bracelet winner Benny Glaser (1,115,000). Having already won two bracelets this summer, the English-born player is looking once more to deepen his legacy in WSOP history. Glaser has a long and rich history in draw games as he already holds two bracelets in 2-7 triple draw. Only seven players have ever won three bracelets in a summer and with his stack here today, Glaser looks to join that group.
