Corwin Among Shortest Stacks

Three-way to a flop of 2A8, it checked to Gergo Nagy on the button, who bet 15,000 into the pot of 30,400. Jonathan Azoulay quickly folded from early position before David Corwin called in the cutoff.

Corwin checked the 4 turn to Nagy as well, and was met with a pot-sized bet of 60,400. Corwin had only 25,000 more than that, and he decided to fold his hand and preserve his chips.

Shakerchi Doubles Through Haxton

Isaac Haxton raised to 5,400 from under the gun, and Robert Cowen called from the small blind. Talal Shakerchi then three-bet to 24,000, Haxton called, and Cowen folded.

The dealer revealed a 94J flop. Shakerchi bet 25,000, Haxton then wagered enough to put Shakerchi all in for roughly 110,000 effective. Shakerchi quickly called, and the players tabled their hands.

Alioto Wins Pot Before Being Moved

Level 3 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Joni Jouhkimainen raised to 5,600 under the gun. Dario Alioto called in the cutoff, and [Removed:548] defended his big blind. Jouhkimainen continued for 6,500 on the 578 flop. Alioto called before [Removed:549] check-folded.

The 7 turn slowed Jouhkimainen down, as he checked over to Alioto. Alioto bet 12,000, which was enough to win the pot as Jouhkimainen laid his hand down.

After the hand, Alioto was moved to another table to make space for Frank Brannan, one of the newest entries.

Katz Takes a Small One

There were roughly 55,000 chips in the pot on a board of 848, Aaron Katz who was in the small blind checked to Jared Bleznick who was in early position and he checked behind.

Katz fired out a bet of 20,000 on the 3 turn and got raised to 55,000, Katz called. Both players checked when the A fell on the river and Katz tabled the winner with AKK10.

Dirk Gerritse had three-bet to 17,600 on the button, which Ben Lamb four-bet to 61,800 in the hijack. Gerritse called, after which the 267 flop checked through.

Lamb bet 35,000 on the 10 turn. Gerritse called, and Lamb checked the K river over to him. Gerritse announced a pot-sized bet, and Lamb instantly added his cards to the muck.

Ausmus Wins Without Showdown

George Wolff limped in from under the gun, Jeremy Ausmus then raised to 5,400 next to act and was called by Brian Batt in the small blind, Jesse Lonis in the big blind, and Wolff.

Action checked to the river on a 23JK8 runout. Ausmus bet 11,500, which triggered a fold from all opponents.

Veselin Karakitukov raised to 4,200 in the cutoff, Artur Martirosian flatted in the small blind, and Jared Bleznick three-bet to 16,800 in the big blind. Karakitukov and Martirosian both called.

The flop came 8K9, Martirosian checked, Bleznick bet 32,500, Karakitukov called, and Martirosian got out of the way.

On the Q turn, Bleznick continued with a bet of 105,000 and Karakitukov surrendered his hand.

"I guess we're starting early," said Bleznick as he showed three cards - A66.

Sipila Forces a Fold

Level 2 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Samuli Sipila raised to 4,500 on the button, Stephen Chidwick three-bet to 13,300 from the small blind, and Fabian Riebau-Schmithals called in the big blind. Sipila came along as well.

The flop came 4410, and Chidwick bet 9,000. Riebau-Schmithals called before Sipila raised to 32,000. Chidwick quickly folded, and Rieba-Schmithals called again.

When the 6 hit the turn, Sipila continued his aggression with a bet of 40,000, which finally forced a fold from Riebau-Schmithals.
