Ian Gavlick

Ian Gavlick: 66/A8J10/JAll in
Tyler Phillips: QQ/8A77/3
Dan Heimiller: XxXx/108A - folded on fifth street

Dan Heimiller completed and was called by Ian Gavlick. Tyler Phillips then raised and both Heimiller and Gavlick called for a bloated three-way pot.

Phillips continued for a bet on fourth street and both Gavlick and Heimiller called.

Gavlick checked to Phillips on fifth and he bet again. This time Heimiller folded and Gavlick went deep into the tank.

After a couple minutes, Gavlick decided to raise all in and Phillips quickly called.

Phillips board improved him to queens-up, which was best against Gavlick's jacks-up to make Gavlick the first casualty of the final table.

Level 24

Sam Jaramillo: AJ/A2K8/7
MengQi Chen: 10Q/J7106/9
Dan Heimiller: XxXx/5 - folded on third street

Sam Jaramillo completed and MengQi Chen called.

Both players checked fourth street. On fifth street Jaramillo bet and Chen raised. Jaramillo three-bet, putting himself all in, and Chen called to put him at risk.

Jaramillo was ahead with a pair of aces which held to secure the double up for Jaramillo, who mentioned to his tablemates that it was the first time he was at risk throughout the entire tournament so far.

Charles Phillips: XxXx/85JK/Xx

Heads-up on fourth street, Tyler Phillips called bets from MengQi Chen through sixth street and then both players checked on seventh.

"Just aces," Chen said.

Aces were enough, however, as Phillips mucked to award Chen the pot.

Joey Couden Eliminated in 10th Place ($5,919)

Level 23
Joseph Couden
Joseph Couden

Joey Couden: 65/5KA8/8All in
Dan Heimiller: QQ/105K6/10

Dan Heimiller completed and Joey Couden raised. It was folded back to Heimiller, who made it three bets to go. Couden just called, leaving himself a few thousand behind.

Heimiller bet to put Couden all in on fourth street and Couden called.

Couden would need some help against Heimiller's queens, but Heimiller caught queens-up on seventh, which was best against Couden's eights-up to eliminate him in 10th place.

Jyri Merivirta: A8/97J6/A
Nicolas Milgrom: K6/4Q7K/K
Greg Mueller: XxXx/K1065 - folded on sixth street
Charles Phillips: XxXx/3 - folded on third street

Greg Mueller completed, Nicolas Milgrom called and Jyri Merivirta called.

Mueller bet fourth and fifth street, receiving calls from both opponents each time. On sixth street Milgrom bet, leaving just 20,000 behind. Merivirta raised, Mueller folded and Milgrom called off for his tourmanent life.

It was a brutal cooler, with Milgrom making a king-high flush while Merivirta had made an ace-high flush. Milgrom could only catch the ace of spades to survive, which Merivirta ended up catching on seventh instead. Milgrom was sent to the rail two spots shy of the final table while Merivirta extended his lead over the rest of the field.
