An all-in clash occurred between Johsua Wedell and James Smith when the two players put their chips in preflop with Wedell at risk.
Joshua Wedell: A♠J♣
James Smith: A♥K♦
Smith had Wedell dominated, but the flop reversed their positions when it came J♦10♥A♦. Smith was unable to regain the lead when the 8♦ turn and the 4♠ river came out to double Wedell.
"That wasn't fun," said Smith after the loss.

In another pre-flop raising battle, all the spondula was in the middle between Ralph Roxas in early position and Carlos Ramirez in late position, and it was Ramirez at risk.
Carlos Ramirez: A♣J♦
Ralph Roxas: Q♠K♣
Ramirez soared ahead on the A♦J♠K♠6♦ flop, but Roxas still had outs. The 6♦ on the turn wasn't one of them, and when the Q♥ came on the river, it did make him two pair, but Ramirez had a better two pair and received a full double up.

Daniel Paredes Da Silva began the action with an open to 3,300 from middle position. Fabian Rolli called from the cutoff, and David Mcphail came along with a call from the big blind.
Mcphail checked on the 7♦7♥3♦ flop and Paredes Da Silva continued for 2,500. Rolli called before Mcphail chose to raise it to 15,000. Paredes Da Silva folded, and Rolli elected to jam for his final 19,300. Mcphail called and sent the two players to a showdown.
Fabian Rolli: K♣K♥
David Mcphail: 8♣7♠
Rolli's kings were on life support against Mcphail's trip sevens. Rolli did not find an escape hatch, as Mcphail improved to a four of a kind when the Q♣ turn and the 7♣ river came out to eliminate Rolli.

Action was joined with the board reading 3♣10♥3♠K♠7♦ and the pot at well over 30,000 already. Michael Hathaway had moved all in, and Michael Sabini was deep in the tank for 2-3 minutes before he called and turned over A♣10♣ for two pair. 'Nice Hand!' exclaimed Hathaway, turning his A♥5♥ over and then promptly flipping into the muck as he was sent packing by Sabini.

A three-way all-in broke out between Robert Douras, Eli Ross, and Marcus Knox preflop. Ross and Knox were both at risk as Douras had both players covered.
Marcus Knox: A♠K♠
Eli Ross: Q♦Q♠
Robert Douras: A♣A♥
Douras had each player in deep trouble as his aces dominated Knox and held court of Ross' queens. Douras remained in control on the 3♦7♣7♥ flop, but the Q♣ turn launched Ross into the lead.
The 5♣ river secured the triple for Ross and sent Knox out of the tournament.

Tom Thomas raised from late position to 5,000 and was called by Richard Hendricks on the button. Diane Cooley then three-bet all in from the big blind. Thomas called, and Hendricks folded.
Diane Cooley: A♥J♦
Tom Thomas: A♣10♥
The board ran out 3♣5♠2♠Q♥7♠ and gave Thomas no help, but Cooley got a much needed double up.
In the very next hand, Thomas raised again now from middle position to 3,000 and all other players folded except for Paul Ng, who made the call from the big blind.
The flop came 5♥Q♦8♦, Ng checked, and Thomas continuing his aggression bet out for 2,400. Ng called. The turn brought the 4♠, and again Ng checked, and this time Thomas bets out for 10,200. Ng thought for a while and made the call.
Both players checked the 2♣ river and Ng tabled 9♦10♦ for missed straight and flush draws whilst Thomas flipped over 7♦7♠ for third pair, which won him the pot.
