Wilson Gets Paid Off

Vitalijs Zavorotnijs raised to 2,200 from under the gun and Andy Wilson reraised to 11,500 out of the big blind. Zavorotnijs called and they went to a flop of 973. Wilson started with a check and Zavorotnijs tossed in a bet of 4,500 which Wilson called.

The turn brought the 7 and both players checked to the J on the river. Wilson led out with a bet of 10,500 and Zavorotnijs looked him up. Wilson flipped over 109 for two pair and that was enough to win the pot.

Martin Raus kicked things off from middle position and raised to 2,300. Artur Martirosian in the small blind called. Martin Stausholm was sitting in the big blind, and he decided to three-bet to 8,500. Only Martirosian made the call.

On the A87 flop, Martirosian check-called the 4,000 bet of Stausholm.

Both players checked the 10 turn.

Martirosian checked once again on the Q river, and Stausholm went all in. Martirosian asked the dealer for a count, and they confirmed 25,100.

Martirosian then went into a deep tank, thinking for almost three minutes about his next move. In the end, he decided to call, and Stausholm showed KJ for a straight whilst Martirosian flashed KxQx for a pair of queens before he mucked the cards and paid Stausholm's double-up.
