Level: 19
Blinds: 10,000/15,000
Ante: 15,000
The remaining 75 players are going on their last 15-minute break of the night.
Benoit Fiasson raised to 25,000 in the cutoff and Julien Sitbon ripped all in for 202,000 on the button. Arthur Thiriart just called from the small blind and Fiasson got out of the way.
Julien Sitbon: K♥10♥
Arthur Thiriart: A♠A♣
Sitbon was in dire straits and the board of 7♣5♣2♥4♥8♠ provided some brief hope on the turn with a flush draw but the river ended Sitbon's day.
After winning a big pot to climb to 2,600,000, Erwann Pecheux opened to 25,000 from the button and was called by both players in the blinds.
All three of them checked the J♣K♦9♦ flop leading to the 5♦ where the blinds checked again. Pecheux bet 75,000 and Joey Couden in the small blind was the only one to call.
The 9♥ river completed the board. Coudey checked and Pecheux moved all-in. Coudey went into the tank for a few seconds and called off his last 240,000.
Pecheux flipped over J♦6♦ for a flush. Upon seeing the hand, Couden mucked and was eliminated.
Artem Riabov raised under the gun to 24,000. Only Renan Bruschi made the call in the big blind.
The flop came Q♥6♥5♠ and Bruschi checked. Riabov bet 20,000, and Bruschi called.
The turn was the 2♣, and now Riabov bet 55,000 when Bruschi checked. Bruschi again tossed in the call.
The river brought the 5♦ and Bruschi checked again. Riabov bet 100,000 this time. Bruschi went into the tank for a while, and finally folded. Someone at the table encouraged Riabov to show the bluff, and Riabov obliged by showing the 8♦7♦.
Keith Lehr under the gun was all-in and at risk for 130,000 against Weizheng Zhong in the small blind.
Keith Lehr: A♠A♦
Weizheng Zhong: K♣10♠
Lehr flopped a set on Q♣9♥A♣, but the J♠ turn gave a straight to Zhong, so Lehr was eliminated after the 3♦. He took a photo of the board so his friends "could believe him" and left in 81st place for $11,284.
Samad Rashid raised it up from the cutoff and was called by Daniel Dangoor on the button and Jon Shoreman in the big blind. An action flop of J♣9♥4♣ hit the felt and the players quickly got all of their chips in the middle.
Samad Rashid: Q♦J♦
Daniel Dangoor: K♣Q♣
Jon Shoreman: A♣5♣
Shoreman had the two shorter stacks covered and Rashid started cheering for a clean runout.
"Deuce of hearts! Deuce of hearts!" he shouted as the 5♦ hit the turn but the 3♣ rolled off on the river. "F*** me! F***me man! You guys have each other's blockers!"
Both Dangoor and Shoreman rivered a flush but it was Shoreman who had the best one, sending both of his opponents to the payout desk.
On a flop of 10♥5♦K♣, Thomas Eychenne in the cutoff bet 17,000 and Mustapha Kanit check-called from the big blind.
Both players checked the 4♦ turn leading to the A♠ that Kanit checked again.
With his mouth covered by his hood and hidden behind sunglasses, Eychenne raised to 65,000. Kanit called but lost to Eychenne's top pair with A♣8♠.
Thomas Cannuli raised from under the gun to 25,000 and was re-raised by Thomas Boivin in the small blind, who went all-in for 132,000. Cannuli made the call.
Thomas Boivin: A♣6♣
Thomas Cannuli: 8♠8♣
The board ran out 9♦4♣2♥6♠6♦, and Boivin found the double.
Nicholas Wright announced he folded a six.
