Kerbel stood pat. Brenneke pondered his decision for a while, so long in fact that Brenneke slid his bet out in anticipation. Brenneke eventually also stood pat.
He then called his opponent's bet and both players stood pat again. Kerbel bet. Brenneke had 17,000 chips behind, so would be left with just 1,000 chips if he called and was wrong. Eventually he did call, but was left with a chip and a chair when Kerbel showed 8x6x5x3x2x
