Clementi Calls the Clock... On Himself!

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Amarante Fitzgerald raised to 24,000 under the gun, and only Glen Clementi made the call, defending his big blind.

The dealer put out a 342 flop, and Clementi decided he wanted to take over the betting lead, doing so for 30,000. Fitzgerald responded with pure aggression, moving all in for 151,000.

This sent Clementi deep into the tank, and after a minute or two had passed, he called the clock on himself!

The floor arrived to let him know the process, giving him 30 more seconds to act. Clementi didn't even use all his allotted time, though, deciding to return his cards to the dealer.

The two players had a brief conversation, and Clementi told his tablemate that he folded pocket sixes.
