Alipourfard Folds to Solis' Raise

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With just a few players to go until the money, on a flop of J106, Stanley Solis checked from the big blind and Mansour Alipourfard bet 12,000 from the button. Solis didn't take long to come in with a check-raise to 37,000.

Alipourfard went into the tank for quite some time. After doing some inventory and looking over at Solis' stack, Alipourfard opted to fold and surrender the pot to Solis.

A Few Stacks Around the Room

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

As hand for hand begins on the tournament bubble, here are a few of the biggest stacks from around the room.

Blixt Bets Flop and Wins

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Michael Ruter raised from middle position to 10,000 and was called by Steven Blixt on the button.

The flop fanned out 6K9, which led to a check from Ruter. Blixt chose to bet 14,000 and elicited a fold from Ruter.

Litt Rivers a Double

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

David Litt was all in for his last few chips from the big blind against Danny Lindsey.

David Litt: 96 All in
Danny Lindsey: JJ

Litt looked likely to bust as he was up against an overpair. The 678 flop gave Litt a lot of outs with two cards to come. The 4 turn didn't change anything, but the 9 river improved Litt to two pair, keeping him in the tournament on the money bubble.

The Bubble Looms Larger; More Eliminations

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Spadaro Left Short; Eliminated Next Hand

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Victor Spadaro had lost nearly all his chips in the previous hand, losing a flip with Ax10x versus an opponent's 4x4x, with his opponent turning a straight.

With just 1,000 left, Spadaro committed it when Jeffrey Bryan raised under the gun to 9,000. All other players folded, and the cards were turned face up.

Victor Spadaro: 107 All in
Jeffrey Bryan: J10

Spadaro was given some hope on the Q43 flop with a flush draw, but the turn 2 and river 9 didn't save him, as he vacated his seat and headed for the exit.

Hess Gets Jam Through, But Wanted a Call

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

James Hess went all in from early position for 52,000, the table folded and when he collected the blinds, he proudly showed the AA.

"I wanted a call! Please call, please call, please call," said Hess, as he stacked his chips.

The very next hand, Brenda Breit went all in for 25,000 and after the table folded, Fernando Brito let her know that he folded ace-queen.

Werner Doubles With Broadway

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a board of 4JA10, Axel Werner shoved for 77,000 from the small blind over a bet of Jean Pasqualini from early position. Pasqualini called, and the cards were revealed.

Axel Werner: KQ All in
Jean Pasqualini: 1010

Pasqualini turned a set, but was behind the Broadway straight of Werner. The 7 on the river didn't bring the board-pair Pasqualini was looking for, and most of his chips were sent over to Werner.
