Frank Edwards committed his last 2,000 on a flop of A♠Q♦10♥ and was put at risk by Marc Ginsberg.
Frank Edwards: 8♣6♠
Marc Ginsberg: J♥4♥
The board completed with the 3♥ and 9♣ and Edwards was eliminated from the tournament.
A frustrated Edwards said, "I'm pissed off because I could have folded, I still had two chips...".
At another table, three players were all-in on a board that read 4♦K♥4♠J♠Q♥.
David Edwards showed A♥K♥ for top pair, but Stan Jablonski revealed 10♦4♣ for trip fours to the disappointment of Richard Bonde who was at risk and showed 8♥8♦.

Golden Nugget pulled the plug on a $1,200 buy-in, $1 million guarantee after the Grand Poker Series tournament had already begun Wednesday morning.
The Las Vegas card room would inevitably cancel the tournament and refund all players after receiving criticism from those who'd entered and expected to be playing for a seven-figure prize pool.
PokerNews spoke with the poker room's Director of Poker Operations, Joel Garcia, and a player who entered the tournament, David Mcconachie, to find out what happened.
Tom McCormick shoved under the gun for 7,000 with James Casement calling from the small blind, and Randy Buck calling out of the big blind.
The A♦Q♦10♠ flop was checked through for the J♦ to appear on the turn. Casement checked, and then folded after Buck bet 8,000.
Tom McCormick: K♦K♥
Randy Buck: K♠2♠
Both players had a straight, so McCormick was guaranteed to remain in the tournament. However, if McCormick hit a diamond on the river, he would win the pot. The 10♣ rolled off on the river, and the two players chopped the pot.

Action folded to Serge Didisheim in the small blind, who already had 2,000 in the middle. Katherine Ziemer was already forced all in for just 1,500 from the big blind, so the players turned their cards over.
Katherine Ziemer: J♣10♥
Serge Didisheim: Q♥6♦
The flop A♦A♣10♣ came to Ziemer's rescue, giving her two pair.
When the turn 8♠ and river 3♦ were revealed, Ziemer still had the best hand and lived to fight another orbit.

On a flop of 9♦2♦A♣, Thomas Gibbons checked from the small blind and John Therrell bet 6,000 from the big blind. Gibbons check-jammed for around 21,000, causing Therrell to go into the tank.
After thinking for a while, Therrell tossed his cards into the muck. Gibbons flipped over A♠8♥ for top pair as the pot was sent over to him.

With only 26,000 in chips on the direct bubble, Cheryl Catrair, says she's been getting all her good hands at the exact wrong time, as she's folded jacks and queens during hand-for-hand.
With an all being called over the microphone, the floor announced that Aces had Aces at risk and a collective moan was release from the field. They chopped.
Katherine Ziemer was good-naturedly folding with only 1,500 in her stack as hand-for-hand began when she was on the button but with each hand advancing, she was eventually forced all in blind vs blind. She caught the jack she needed to double and the bubble continues.

With Tom McCormick all in for his last 500 chip from the small blind, Marcel Luske limped under the gun. Marsha Wolak called from middle position and David Scheunemann checked out of the big blind.
The three players checked the 5♥2♠7♥ flop to see the 9♥ turn. After Scheunemann checked, Luske bet 6,000, which only Wolak called.
Luske bet 15,000 when the 6♦ came on the river. Wolak quickly called and the cards were revealed.
Tom McCormick: 6♥2♥
Marsha Wolak: 9♦8♠
Marcel Luske :K♣J♥
Luske had a total airball with king-high, while Wolak rivered a straight. However, McCormick revealed a flush to win the hand and remain in the tournament.
