With the flop showing 5♣9♥K♣, David Hinterberg checked from the big blind, and Chris Antzoulatos bet 20,000 from middle position. Jeffrey Mermelstein called for his last 12,000 from the button, and Hinterberg also called.

With Mermelstein all-in, the 5♥ turn and K♥ river were checked down. Hinterberg revealed 10♦10♣, and Antzoulatos showed 10♠10♥. Mermelstein had them both beat with K♠J♣ for a full house and tripled up.

This jubilation of spiking a set would not last, however, as the J♥ river gave Malboubi a flush on the river to score the knockout.
