Clementi Calls the Clock... On Himself!

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Amarante Fitzgerald raised to 24,000 under the gun, and only Glen Clementi made the call, defending his big blind.

The dealer put out a 342 flop, and Clementi decided he wanted to take over the betting lead, doing so for 30,000. Fitzgerald responded with pure aggression, moving all in for 151,000.

This sent Clementi deep into the tank, and after a minute or two had passed, he called the clock on himself!

The floor arrived to let him know the process, giving him 30 more seconds to act. Clementi didn't even use all his allotted time, though, deciding to return his cards to the dealer.

The two players had a brief conversation, and Clementi told his tablemate that he folded pocket sixes.

The turn came the4 and Farzad check-called another bet from Wanger, this time for 100,000.

Two checks followed the K river and Wagner took down the pot with AQ for just a pair of queens.

Play the Board

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

A quirky hand occurred between Danny Lindsey and Walter Ward when Lindsey shoved for his final 81,000 from middle position with 1010 and was called by Ward from the big blind with 95, who was down to his final 31,000.

Ward was in deep trouble, and the flop of JJJ appeared to be the exit sign for the short stack.

When the J hit the turn to counterfeit Lindsey's full house, Lindsey pronounced "I still have ten high," but the A river altered that and gave both players a four of a kind with an ace kicker to chop the pot.

Liftoff for Luske!

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Marcel Luske and Kenna James
Marcel Luske and Kenna James

Shortly before the break, a monster pot took place between two of the chip leaders, with collateral damage caused to Serge Didisheim.

Marcel Luske raised to 23,000 in middle position and, next to act, Kenna James called. Action then folded to Didisheim in the big blind, who moved all in for 172,000.

Luske took a moment before also moving all in for 832,000. This put James deep into the tank. After more than three minutes, James made the call.

Serge Didisheim: KK All in
Kenna James: QQ All in
Marcel Luske: AA

Most of the table stood up, drawing attention from the rail as everyone wanted to witness the cold deck, but the action had barely even started.

The dealer fanned out a QJJ flop, shooting James into the lead with a flopped full house.

The turn 5 made no difference to the standings, but the table erupted when the dealer revealed the A river, improving Luske to a better full house.

Stacks were checked, and Luske barely had James covered with just 30,000 more.

The huge pot was pushed to Luske as James discussed the hand with other players, and Didisheim headed to the exit.

Splettstoesser's Set of Snowmen Melt vs Cameron's Straight

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Peter Splettstoesser
Peter Splettstoesser

Wesley Cameron jammed for 107,000 from the button on a board of 8579. Peter Splettstoesser called from middle position with the covering stack.

Wesley Cameron: 76 All in
Peter Splettstoesser: 88

Splettstoesser had a set, but was behind the straight of Cameron. Splettstoesser couldn't catch the board-pairing river he needed as the A fell, meaning Cameron earned the double-up.
