Troxell Shows His Overpair

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Garry Troxell came in with a raise to 15,000 from middle position and only Forrest Collins called from the button.

The dealer fanned out a flop of 793, and Troxell started with a check. Collins fired 25,000, which Troxell called.

Troxell checked again on the 3 turn and Collins bet again, this time for 35,000. This was enough to get Troxell to lay his hand down, and Collins revealed 1010 for an overpair as he pulled in the pot.

No Six for Deschamp

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

John Deschamp shoved for his final 19,000 from early position and was called by Christian Wallmuth in late position to put Deschamp at risk.

John Deschamp: A6All in
Christian Wallmuth: AJ

Deschamp was calling for a six, but the runout of A4893 was not enough to overcome the better ace of Wallmuth as Deschamp shook hands with the table and wished them luck before he exited.

Set of Kings No Good

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action was joined as Kenneth Schetter and David Fricke were manoeuvring all of their chips into the middle.

"You have aces?" asked Schetter, and Fricke confirmed that he did.

David Fricke: AA All in
Kenneth Schetter: KK

Fricke was in great shape to double up and continue his run, but the K24 quickly turned things on their head.

The turn 5 gave Fricke some more outs to catch up, and catch up he did. The river A drew quite a response from the table, as Fricke rivered a better set than his opponent.

As Fricke sat back down in his seat, the dealer pushed the pot in his direction.

Hooks Cowboys Eliminate Vicars

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

James Casement raised to 15,000 from middle position before Bill Vicars three-bet jammed for 145,000 from the hijack. James Hook moved all in with the covering stack from the small blind, forcing Casement to fold.

Bill Vicars: AQ All in
James Hook: KK

Hook was ahead with pocket kings and just needed to fade an ace or some spades to win the pot and send Vicars home. The 2J4 flop gave Vicars a flush draw. The rest of the board ran out J5, and Vicars hit the rail.
