Lonny Weitzel raised to 225,000 under the gun and Namir Mohamed went all in on the button. Weitzel put in the call.
Namir Mohamed: A♦7♦
Lonny Weitzel: A♠K♥
The board ran out 6♠J♦8♣3♠5♦ and Weitzel had the best ace-high to send Mohamed out of the tournament area.

Wesley Cameron raised to 280,000 on the button and Lonny Weitzel responded with a raise to an even 2,000,000. Cameron didn't take too long thinking about it before he folded.
"Not better than these guys!", said Weitzel as he flashed the K♥K♦ and collected the pot.

Richard Jutte began the action with a raise to 300,000 from early position before Marcel Luske called from the cutoff. It folded to Lawrence Whyte in the big blind, who chose to call to send the trio to a flop.
Whyte bet 150,000 on the 10♥8♥4♠ flop, and was called by Jutte. Luske decided to play for more and jammed all in for 1,735,000.
Both Whyte and Jutte folded to end the hand.

Lonny Weitzel has been driving the action at his table and this hand started out with him raising to 250,000. Damir Stefanic and Wesley Cameron called from the blinds.
Three ways they saw the 5♣Q♠7♠ fall. Both blinds checked and Weitzel pushed forward a bet of 3,000,000 and both his opponents folded.
Weitzel showed K♥K♦ for the second time in two orbits.

Richard Frandsen opened to 400,000 from early position, and when action folded round to Steven Schloss in the small blind, he moved all in for roughly 2,100,000. Frandsen made the call when the action got back to him, only to see the bad news.
Steven Schloss: A♦K♠
Richard Frandsen: A♣Q♥
Schloss wasn't feeling overly optimistic, though, despite having his opponent dominated. "I'll probably lose", he said.
The flop certainly didn't do his chances of survival any favours, coming out 10♠J♠9♣, giving Frandsen a straight draw.
The turn 2♣ was safe enough, but when Frandsen called for a king, the deck obliged, as the river K♣ was revealed.
It took a moment for those at the table to register what had just happened, but when they did, Schloss took his leave and headed towards the exit.

It folded to Lonny Weitzel in the small blind and he continued his aggressive ways by jamming on the short-stacked Everett Carlton.
Carlton called and cards were on their backs.
Everett Carlton: A♣9♦
Lonny Weitzel: 7♥4♣
Weitzel had two live cards but the board ran out 5♣2♣9♥J♦2♦ and Carlton collected a full double.

Richard Frandsen opened the action with a raise to 500,000 on the button and was met with an all-in by Edwin Huston for 1,675,000. Frandsen called to send them to a showdown.
Edwin Huston: A♠J♦
Richard Frandsen: Q♣J♣
Huston had to face a sweat when the flop came K♠10♦8♣ as it gave Fransen an open-ended straight draw. The 8♠ turn was safe for Huston, and the 4♥ river awarded him the double.
Huston would scoop another 500,000 shortly after with a jam over the top of a raise from Martin Kohler to chip up further during the final level of the evening.
