Daigle Hits the Exit

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The hand began when Jacques Daigle shipped it for his final 85,000 from under the gun. The table folded around to Lea Wolfe, who called from the button to put Daigle at risk.

Jacques Daigle: KQAll in
Lea Wolfe: AJ

It was a coin flip as they headed to the runout, but Wolfe pushed Daigle closer to the edge when the flop came 492.

Wolfe took one final bite out of Daigle when the A turn sealed the deal as the 7 peeled off on the river to officially end the hand.

House for Morgan

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Mayo Morgan shoved for 80,000 from early position. The table folded to Victor Stauffer, who isolated with a jam for 465,000.

Mayo Morgan: A6All in
Victor Stauffer: 1010

Morgan called for hearts, but he received a different welcome sight when the KKA flop came out.

The 3 turn was of no consequence, and the A river upgraded Morgan to full house.

Michaelson Fades Flush to Double, Farha's Stack Suffers

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Sam Farha
Sam Farha

Sammy Farha raised from middle position, and when action folded around to Scott Michaelson in the small blind, he moved all in for 135,000. The big blind got out of the way, but Farha made the call.

Scott Michaelson: KQ All in
Sammy Farha: 109

Michaelson celebrated as the flop came down Q33, before the table informed him that Farha had a flush draw and there were still two more cards to come.

The turn 2 was safe, though, as was the A, and Michaelson was then able to continue his celebrations as the dealer pushed a double-up in his direction.

Richard Jutte

Jeffrey Yarchever went all in for his last 120,000 and was easily called by Richard Jutte.

Richard Jutte: AA

The flop scrolled across 1094 and Yarchever started rooting for a jack before the 4 paired the board.

The river brought the 4 and Yarchever was thwarted.

"Well, you did improve to a [full] house," needled one of Yarchever's tablemates, while he lamented running into aces off such a short stack.

Stauffer Ends Hunt's Tournament Run

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The chips got all in preflop between Victor Stauffer on the button and Ronald Hunt in the small blind, with Hunt at risk for his tournament.

Ronald Hunt: AKAll in
Victor Stauffer: 53

Hunt held the lead before the race, but Stauffer hit his pair on the 2J3. The Q kept Hunt drawing with straight outs, but the 5 was not what Hunt was searching for as he headed to the exit.

Luske Recalls Bad Beat

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Marcel Luske
Marcel Luske

Marcel Luske recalled the action, having just lost a preflop all-in versus Richard Murphy.

Luske raised to 42,000, then Murphy, one seat to his left, moved all in for 375,000. Luske made the call, and the players revealed their cards.

Richard Murphy: AxQx All in
Marcel Luske: AxKx

What was a promising situation for Luske to continue his dominance soon turned into despair, as the board ran out queen-high, and Luske had to ship a substantial sum of chips to his neighbor.

Poor Timing Spells the End for Bohmer

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action folded its way to Thomas Bohmer on the button, who moved all in for roughly 270,000. The small blind folded, but Michael Demeza, in the big blind, made the call.

Thomas Bohmer: QJ All in
Michael Demeza: AA

The flop offered no help to Bohmer, coming 532, but the J turn breathed new life into his hopes of survival.

Alas, the river 8 wasn't able to save him, and he took his leave as the dealer pushed the pot to Demeza.
