It was Paquette at risk, but with the best hand, although there was a lot to dodge if it was to stay that way.

The turn 3♦ leveled the playing field when it came to flush draws. Unfortunately for Paquette, it was Frazin who improved to a flush on the 2♠ river, sending the former to the rail.

Abraham Obeid elected to shove for 225,000 from the small blind, and Raul Correa was also interested as he went all-in from the big blind for 230,000. Mcdonald called and had both covered and sent them to a three-way showdown.

Fitzgerald hit his jack on the flop, but it came with the caveat of Stern gaining significant outs when it came J♥7♥5♠. The Q♠ turn gave Fitzgerald a flush draw as well, but doom arrived when the 2♥ peeled on the river, which gave Stern a flush and sent Fitzgerald to the rail.

Benson placed a bet of 160,000, and after some thought, Frandsen responded by moving all in for 685,000.

Action returned to Benson, who took his time to calculate all the information before deciding to return his cards to the dealer, conceding the pot.

Robert Baxter raised to 55,000 and was called by John Myers, who started the day among the chip leaders, but was on a short stack at the start of this hand.

The 3♠8♦7♠ hit the felt, and Baxter went all in, covering Myers. The latter shrugged and put in the call. Baxter let out a groan, as he didn't want to be called.

The board completed with the 4♣ and Q♥, awarding Myers a full double with his pair of sevens.
