Merron had a commanding lead preflop and improved to top set on the K♠6♦J♣ flop. However, Yuan had picked up additional outs in the form of a gutshot, and she wasted no time in hitting it as the 10♣ peeled off on the turn. Merron was unable to boat up on the A♠ river, and Yuan sent his team home.
