In a battle between the blinds, Mike Matusow bet on the flop of 7810 and Kevin Gerhart called. Matusow bet again on the A turn and Gerhart raised. Matusow called.

Matusow checked on the 2 river and Gerhart bet. Matusow sighed before throwing his cards to the muck. Gerhart slid his cards over for the fellow four-time bracelet winner to peek at, but Matusow was uninterested in seeing the hand.

Eveslage stood pat, while Tate and Owen drew one. Eveslage then bet and both opponents called.

Eveslage again patted and bet after the last draw, while Tate and Owen drew one. Tate then raised and Owen folded, while Eveslage called. Tate showed 7x6x4x3x2x and No. 2 and Eveslage mucked.

Hal Rotholz raised in early position and Philip Sternheimer and Dan Smith called from the cutoff and button before Kane Kalas three-bet in the small blind. All three opponents called.

Kalas bet on the flop of A1010 and all three opponents called. Sternheimer bet again on the Q turn and only Sternheimer called.

Kalas bet once more on the 7 and Sternheimer called, looking away as Kalas tabled AA74 to win the pot with aces full.

Fitoussi Goes For Value on Dangerous Board

Bruno Fitoussi opened the hijack and was called by Paul Volpe in the cutoff.

On the 875 flop, Fitoussi led for 5,000, Volpe raised to 17,000, and Fitoussi called.

The 8 turn checked through to the 6 river which saw Fitoussi lead for 25,000 with 81,500 behind. Volpe would consider his options for over a minute before he flicked in the call. Fitoussi tabled AA which was good as Volpe mucked.

Coleman Raises Out Vengrin

Matthew Vengrin raised to 5,000 in the hijack and received three callers.

The flop came Q52 and Maxx Coleman bet 12,000 from the big blind. Vengrin then raised to 50,000 in the hijack as action folded back to Coleman who reraised to 90,000.

Vengrin tanked for several minutes before releasing his hand as Coleman took the pot.
