On the 4 turn, Matusow check-called a bet from Tong.

The 2 river checked through as Matusow announced jacks-up which was no good against the AQ32 of Tong who had a better two pair, and neither player made a low.

Chad Eveslage and Phil Ivey saw the turn on a board of 6949 when Eveslage led out for 35,000 from the big blind. Ivey called under the gun.

The river was the 5 and Eveslage bet another 60,000. Ivey spent several minutes in the tank before tossing in the chips to call, and Eveslage showed 107 for a flush to win the pot as Ivey fell below 100,000.

Glaser Honored for Joining Exclusive Poker Club

Before Level 8 kicked off, Benny Glaser was honored for becoming the first poker player in 15 years to win eight WSOP bracelets in ten years. Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson and Phil Hellmuth are among those who have achieved this feat.

Jack Effel awarded Glaser his eighth bracelet — his third of the summer — and said he hoped to award him many more in the future. Glaser thanked his supporters and held the eighth bracelet proudly as applause rang through the Horseshoe Events Center before heading back to his seat in the Poker Players Championship.

The flop came 925 and Kalas bet 15,500. Mizrachi called and the 4 turn was checked through.

Mizrachi led out for 25,000 on the J river and Kalas called. Mizrachi showed Q8, but Kalas had 65 for a pair of fives to win the pot.
