Zehnder Triples on Pay Jump
Briant Alavez was the first player to make an aggressive action in the hand, as he raised to 2,000,000 from early position. Action got all the way back around to the small blind Kenny Bedoya, who made the call, and Zachary Zehnder defended his big blind, too.
On a flop of 6♥8♥6♣ Bedoya decided to lead out for 2,500,000. Zehnder shoved, however it was revealed to be simply a call as he had 2,300,000 in his stack. Alavez made the call also. With only 400,000 in the sidepot, action checked through on the Q♥ turn and 2♣ river.
Here, Bedoya quickly mucked without seeing either opponent's cards, relinquishing the side pot to Alavez. Alavez then mucked, also and Zehnder was the only player left with cards in his hands. He tabled 10♥7♥ for a flush, but before he could scoop the pot the other players had to reveal their cards due to the all in nature of the hand.
The dealer turned over Bedoya's J♠10♦ and Alavez's K♠J♥ showing that the pots had indeed been handed out correctly. "What a flop!" announced a spectator, as Zehnder made the pay jump.
