Cai was unable to win the flip as the dealer showed a board J♦9♣5♥7♦8♣ and she made her way to collect her money prize.
In the first hand after the two table redraw, Janet Kanstrup moved all in for her remaining 810,000 stack from early position and was called by Heather Alcorn who covered.

Diana Shamshoum raised under the gun to 100,000 and Shiina Okamoto three-bet to 300,000 in the cutoff. Both Dorothy Ecaldre on the button and Shamshoum called.

Yuko Takahashi moved all in for her remaining 475,000 and both players called.

Lang Yi in the small blind shoved all-in for around 170,000 and got a snap call from Tsz Liu in the big blind, taking them to showdown.

Yi spiked two pair on the flop of 5♦K♥Q♠ against Liu's mid-pair. Yi saw a potential double up when she maintained her lead on the turn 3♣. But the A♥ fell on the river giving Liu the higher two pair and sending Li to hit the rails with a 23rd finish.
Tsz Liu opened to 60,000 from middle position and Krista Gifford moved all in for her remaining 340,000 in the cutoff. Liu snap called and the players flipped their hands.

Gifford was hoping to hold, but the K♠3♥9♣ improved Liu to top pair.
There was no help for Gifford on the Q♣ turn and 3♠ river, and she was eliminated from the tournament.
Nana Sanechika raised to 60,000 under the gun, and Sonia Shashikhina raised to 160,000 to her left. Manda Moore, next to Shashikhina shoved all-in for around 760,000. Action folded around to Sanechika, who also got out of the way. Shashikhina made the call, putting Moore's tournament life in jeopardy.

Shashikhina was ahead, making Moore get up from her seat as she watched the dealer flop 3♦K♥9♣. Shashikhina caught a set on the flop strengthening her lead. The runout 5♦A♠ didn't change anything for Moore. She picked up her things and headed to the payout counter.
