Shoreman Runs Into Yockey's Wheel

Bryce Yockey raised under the gun and Bradley Jansen reraised on the button. Jon Shoreman called before Yockey made it four bets. Both Jansen and Shoreman called.

Shoreman drew two and Yockey and Jansen both took one. Yockey then bet and both opponents called.

All three players drew one on the second draw and checked. They each took one on the last draw and Yockey bet. Jansen folded, but Shoreman called.

Yockey turned over 7x5x4x3x2x for a wheel. "Almost the same hand," Shoreman said as he mucked.

Johansson took one, while Le and Kay both drew two. Johansson then bet again and Le called, while Kay got out of the way.

Johansson stood pat and bet after the last draw, while Le took one. He called and Johansson showed him 8x7x5x3x2x to win the pot.

There were 141 entries, generating a prize pool of $1,340,910. The top 22 players will finish in the money and earn at least a min-cash of $20,000, while the champion takes home $333,054 and the WSOP gold bracelet.

Shoreman Makes It Quick and Painless For Leffler

Aaron Leffler bet his last chips from the small blind after the second draw and Jon Shoreman called in the big blind.

Leffler stood pat with 9x8x7x5x3x, while Shoreman showed 7x6x3x2x and took one. Shoreman quickly peeled a 4x to make a 7-6 and Leffler was sent to the rail.

"Make a note that I didn't torture him. I showed it right away," Shoreman said.

Long Tran was all in from the small blind and up against Michael Wolff under the gun going to the last draw. Tran drew one and Wolff stood pat.

Wolff turned over 8x7x5x4x2x, while Tran was also drawing to an eight but caught a Kx on his last card and headed for the rail.

A fan on the rail presented Daniel Negreanu with a t-shirt that read "The Man. The Myth. The Legend," leading Negreanu to break out into his song.

"Daniel Negreanu. The Man. The Myth. The Legend," Negreanu sang. "I'm going to wear this right now," he added.

Negreanu then went heads-up with Aaron Leffler to the second draw where Leffler bet on the button. Negreanu then raised in the big blind and Leffler called.

Negreanu stood pat and bet, while Leffler drew one. Leffler took a minute to consider the decision but eventually folded as Negreanu added to his stack.
