Dentan Turns Up the Heat with a Flop Check-Raise

Colin Dentan opened the action with a raise to 1,200 from early position, and Fred Li responded with a three-bet to 4,500 from middle position. The action folded back around to Dentan, who made the call.

The flop came 9Q2, and Dentan checked it over to Li. Li continued for 5,500, but Dentan applied pressure with a check-raise to 20,000.

Li didn’t waste much time before tossing his cards into the muck, giving up the pot to Dentan.
