Welcome back to PokerNews, the official media partner of the 2025 World Series of Poker and home of live updates from all bracelet events.

Today will see the start of Event #73: $1,500 Eight Game Mix at 2 p.m. local time here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas with starting stacks of 25,000 chips.

Day 1 will consist of 15 levels, at 40 minutes a piece. Breaks of 15 minutes will occur every three levels. No dinner break is scheduled. Late registration is available until the start of Level 10 (≈ 9:45 p.m.) and players who find themselves on the rail before that time have the option of one reentry.

Day 2 on Saturday, June 28, will start at noon, and the remaining players will play another 10 levels. Blinds will increase every 60 minutes on Days 2 and 3. On Day 3 Sunday, the tournament will play down to a winner.

Garth Yettick came out victorious last year in this event. He earned the gold bracelet and the $131,061 that went with it as a reward for crushing a field of 494 entrants. In doing so, he denied 2021 WSOP Player of the Year Josh Arieh, who finished runner-up, his seventh bracelet.
