Arieh Can't Take the Heat

Paulino Dias raised to 1,500 from under the gun and Josh Arieh reraised to 3,000 on the button. Dias inadvertently called out of position before Youngsik Eum had the chance to call from the big blind. They eventually three ways to a flop of Q102.

Eum quickly checked and Dias splashed in a bet of 9,000. Arieh called and Eum got out of the way. The turn was the 4 and Dias made a pot-sized bet of 27,800. Arieh deliberated for a minute and then threw his cards into the muck.

Maretz Chips Up With Quads

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Three ways to the J995 turn, Steven Flores and Seth Maretz both checked and Pei Li then bet 11,500. Flores folded while Maretz called and checked the 4 on the river. Li checked behind this time and Maretz announced quads before showing the 9974 to claim the pot.

After two checks from the blinds on a flop of 5KA, Ludovic Geilich bet 4,500 from the button. Fernando Gutierrez called from the small blind, and Conrad De Armas folded out of the big blind.

The 4 appeared on the turn and Gutierrez checked again. Geilich gathered together a bet of 15,000, which was enough to get Gutierrez to lay his hand down.

Once it was limped to Tomer Daniel, he raised to 2,500 and earned three callers to the 994 flop. No betting action led to the 10 turn on which Tom Hu bet 6,000. Chris Hunichen called, Daniel folded and Michael Wang check-called. The 3 on the river was checked and Wang tabled the QQ109 for nines full of tens to win the pot.

DJ Alexander raised to 1,300 in early position and picked up three callers along the way including Chino Rheem in the big blind. The flop came J82 and Rheem led out with a bet of 4,000. Alexander just called and Steven Forman also came along.

The 2 paired the board on the turn and Rheem fired out another bet of 7,000. Alexander called and Forman raised to 22,000. Rheem quickly called and Alexander spent some time in the tank before letting his hand go.

The river was the 5 and both players tapped the table. Rheem turned over J432 for a full house and Forman conceded the pot.

Cabrera Polop Correctly Looks Up Chen

With the board showing AJ278, James Chen made it 15,000 to go out of the blinds. David Cabrera Polop called after some consideration and was shown the AK99 for top pair and the nut straight blockers. Cabrera Polop had that beat with the J976 for two pair to scoop the pot.

Fishman Doubles With a Flush

Four ways to a flop of 4K5 with around 10,000 in the pot. Everyone checked to see the J appear on the turn. When it checked to Ken Fishman in middle position, he bet 6,000. Jelle de Kroon was the only caller from the big blind.

De Kroon checked for the last time on the 9 river, and Fishman bet his last 2,000. De Kroon reluctantly called and then mucked upon seeing Fishman's Q1083 for a flush.

Porbandarwala Dances to the Rail

Matthew Mcewan raised to 1,400 from under the gun and Soheb Porbandarwala called on the button. Jeff Madsen three-bet to 6,000 from the big blind which got Mcewan to fold but Porbandarwala still called.

"Let's dance," he said as he flicked in the chips to call. The dealer fanned the flop of 987 and Madsen continued with a bet of 2,100. Porbandarwala called and the 3 rolled off on the turn. Madsen made another small bet of 5,700 and Porbandarwala still called.

The river was the 10 and Madsen finally bet the pot for 27,400. Porbandarwala mulled it over and eventually called off his last 20,300. Madsen flipped over AKJ7 for the nut flush and Porbandarwala's cards went into the muck.

Chowdhury Keeps Building Stack

On the river of a Q4385 board, Afnan Chowdhury bet 21,000 and that represented most of the stack of his opponent Patrik Jaros. The latter tank-folded and Chowdhury asked "do you want to see?" before he rolled over the AJ98 for a pair of eights only.
