From the button, Eric Garma bet 20,000 on the river of a board that showed 6876J. Joshua McCully was in the tank from the big blind, and after thinking for quite some time, McCully made the call.

Garma announced "you're good,", prompting McCully to reveal AA108 for just a pair of aces.

Ohulchanskyi Eliminated by Godena

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

In a pot of around 30,000 to the K95 flop, Yaroslav Ohulchanskyi clashed with Jarryd Godena as they got their stacks into the middle as follows.

Yaroslav Ohulchanskyi: AAJ3 All in
Jarryd Godena: J1052

Godena had a flush draw to go with his borrom pair and gutshot straight draw. The 6 turn changed nothing but the aces were cracked on the 10 river as Godena improved to tens and fives.

Houvener Stays Alive

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Paul Houvener got his stack of 15,500 in from the small blind with Noel Rodriguez trying to bust him out of the big blind.

Paul Houvener: AKQ8 All in
Noah Rodriguez: AK102

Houvener managed to end up with a pair of eights on the 79892 runout, earning him the much-needed double-up.

Allen Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

The action limped to Kevin Allen and the Brit made it 2,500 to go, which Matthew Higgins in the small blind and initial limper Andrew Kappes called. On the K84 flop, Allen bet 3,500 when checked to and Higgins was the only caller.

Higgins checked the 5 turn and Allen checked behind prior to the 2 river, on which Higgins checked again. Allen now bet 12,500 and won the pot without further resistance or showdown.

Duczak Above the Starting Stack

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Perhaps known to many from his deep run in the WSOP Main Event a few years ago, Canada's Aaron Duczak has actually earned his bread and butter mostly through the four-card variant. Nothing much happened for him but he just leaped back above the starting stack.

Duczak defended the big blind against a raise to 2,100 and one call, which led to the K86 flop, on which the Canadian bet 3,000 and won the pot uncontested.

Lewis Turns a Set

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Toby Lewis raised to 2,100 in early position and picked up two callers along the way. The flop came A42 and the action checked around to the J on the turn.

Lewis led out with a bet of 7,000 and Justin Smith called on his left. Christopher Costa folded and they were left heads-up going to the 8 on the river. Lewis checked this time and Costa quickly checked it back. Lewis tabled KJJ8 for a set of jacks and earned the pot.

Negreanu Misreads His Hand & Busts

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Daniel Negreanu

Mark Steinberg called from the small blind and Daniel Negreanu made it 1,800 from the big blind. Steinberg called.

Both players checked the 723 flop to see the K appear on the turn. Steinberg checked again, and Negreanu bet 2,500. Steinberg called.

After Steinberg knuckled the action over to Negreanu on the 10 river, Negreanu jammed for 4,600. Steinberg called, and Negreanu exclaimed, "I misread my hand, I thought I had king-ten. I would have checked,".

Negreanu showed just a pair of kings with KQJ9, and lost the pot to Steinberg's K1085 for a rivered two pair. The pot was pushed to Steinberg, and Negreanu was out.
