On a board of 8♥A♣9♠6♦, Christoph Csik bet 800 from the big blind and was met by a raise to 2,500 from Jarred Graham on the button. After a few moments, Csik called.
When the Q♣ appeared on the river, Csik began to bet, prompting a snap-fold from Graham.
After a couple of preflop limps, Ivan Starostin raised to 1,100 on the button. Michael Wang three-bet to 3,900 from the small blind and only Starostin called. The flop came 8♠5♠4♥ and Wang continued with a bet of 3,800 which Starostin called.
The turn was the Q♦ and Wang checked this time. Starostin tossed in a bet of 10,000 and Wang called to see the 7♠ on the river. Wang checked again and Starostin checked it back this time. Wang flipped over A♠A♣9♠5♣ for a rivered flush to claim the pot.

2013 WSOP bracelet winner and co-owner of Big Wheel Burger, located in various cities in BC, Canada, Calen McNeil is off to a hot start in one of his favorite events of the summer. McNeil was heads-up with John Connors on a flop of J♠8♦4♦ where both players committed 2,500 to the pot.
The turn was the 9♣ and Connors checked to McNeil who sized up a bet of 8,500. Connors called and the 10♥ peeled off on the river. Connors checked again and McNeil checked it back, showing A♣Q♠10♣3♦ for a queen-high straight. Connors flashed his J♥J♦ before sending his hand into the muck.
