Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

With 35,000 in the middle on a board of 10467A, Michael Rocco checked from the small blind and Christos Argyriadis checked from under the gun. Christoph Csik fired out a bet of 23,000, prompting two quick folds from his opponents.

Furth Jams into the Nuts

From under the gun, Bruno Furth checked the 968 flop. Lawrence Wayne bet the pot for 16,500 from the next seat, which Patrik Jaros called out of the hijack. Furth check-jammed for 40,000, and Wayne immediately shoved himself for 49,400. Jaros went into the tank for over two minutes, visibly agonizing over the decision. Eventually, Jaros folded.

Lawrence Wayne: A10x73x

Wayne had the nuts versus the second nuts of Furth. The rest of the board ran out Q5 and the pot was awarded to Wayne, while Furth was out.

Jaros stated after the hand that he also had a flush and two pair.

Duek Puts Del Grosso in the Tank

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Michael Duek opened to 1,100 from under the gun and was called by Marcello Del Grosso in the cutoff. They went heads-up to a flop of Q55 and Duek continued with a bet of 1,500 which Del Grosso called.

The turn was the A and Duek tossed in a bet of 3,000. Del Grosso still called and the 10 completed the board. Duek fired out a full pot-sized bet of 12,000 and Del Grosso went into the tank. Nearly three minutes passed by and Del Grosso finally let his hand go, sending the pot to Duek.

Merron Earns Full Double Through Christopher

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Kyle Merron
Kyle Merron

With plenty of chips in a multi-way pot to the 10843 turn, the action was checked by Ashish Gupta. Kyle Merron then bet 15,500 and Stefan Christopher reluctantly called, Gupta folded.

Merron jammed the 10 on the river for 33,400 and Christopher called after more consideration to get shown the AJ104 for tens full of fours.

"The cards have to be shown," Juha Helppi said as Christopher paid off the double and briefly rolled over his cards for a split second. Barely anyone could see what they were and Christopher added "five five six with spades".

Afnan Chowdhury

Five ways to the AJ10 flop, the action checked to Afnan Chowdhury on the button and he bet 6,000. Three opponents called and checked to him on the 8 turn when he bet another 20,000. This time, only Corey Wright in the cutoff check-called while Robert Cowen was among those to let go.

Wright then checked the 10 on the river and Chowdhury bet 25,000. After he was in the tank for a while, Wright folded and the table was shown the Q983 by Chowdhury.

Assorted Counts in the Field

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

The Darkness and the Light

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Sean Winter just joined the field and was seated to just to the right of Michael Rocco and staring across the table at Alex Foxen. A tough table in any field, just got a whole lot tougher for the other five players.

Winter moved his sunglasses to the top of his head and began rambling immediately. "There's only two guys that put me in an angry mood when I look at them," Winter started. "Jake Schindler and Foxen. I don't know why, those are the only two."

"Maybe it's the darkness from Jake and the light from Alex," Rocco replied. Everyone laughed as it was all in good fun.

A four-way limped pot proceeded to play out with a flop of A109 hitting the felt. The action checked around to the Q on the turn and Foxen took a stab at the pot with a bet of 1,200 from the big blind. Christos Argyriadis was the only player to call from the small blind and the J landed on the river.

Argyriadis checked again and Foxen splashed in a bet of 3,000. Argyriadis thought for a few seconds and then dumped his cards into the muck.

Dattani Checks Back a Flush

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Umang Dattani made it 1,100 to go from the button before Tomer Daniel three-bet to 3,500 from the small blind. Dattani called.

Daniel led out for 3,500 on the 88K flop, and was met by a raise to 9,500 from Dattani. Daniel called.

The 4 appeared on the turn and the action checked through for the Q to appear on the river. Both players checked and Dattani flipped over AJJ5 for a flush to win the pot.
